My first MikroTik product was a CRS310-8G+2S+IN and I was very scared when winbox allowed me to "try" and install switchos and I thought I bricked my device. Are there any plans to make sure that you're warned about something like that in future?
I love the new Winbox v4 redesign, but please remove the latency when moving the windows, it makes it feel a bit slow to use. Thanks for the amazing products, keep up the good work! Edit: please also add more options to right click context menu, it is very annoying to have to click icons near the tabs to for example delete a DHCP lease.
2:37 I'm sorry to say the exact opposite. A new Winbox for someone who has been working with Mikrotik for a really long time is not great. I understand that you want to get closer to more people who like modern and flashy GUIs, but most WISPs want exactly the opposite. That's why I loved WinBox! The new winbox is more like webconfig, which I don't like. I find the new way of panels very cluttered. Things now require multiple clicks, and the vertical tab view is impractical to me. In addition, the color scheme (light) makes it rather difficult for me to concentrate (especially the alternating colors after each row). On WinBox, I loved that there was a uniform grey colour everywhere - it wasn't distracting. Please add an option for a classic look. I love Mikrotik and don't want it to turn into a horrible Ubiquiti/Unifi! Not to be all negative, thanks for all the great hardware, long support and I understand that Winbox needed a rewrite - finally a native Linux binary! Also greetings from the Czech Republic!

5:15 Tabs are only back partially in Winbox 4 Beta. E.g. if you open interfaces you'll see the tabs like Interface, Interface List, Ethernet, EoIP Tunnel,... and so on. But if you double-click on a specific interface to configure it, all the settings like General, PoE, Ethernet, Loop Protect,... and so on are shown on the right-hand side. That is confusing, having now to adopt two different ways of navigating. If you could change this as in Winbox 3, it would be much easier.
I often buy some used Mikrotik devices for my homelab and lack of rack ears is usually a problem. So please @mikrotik, can You sell us rack ears separately or provide dimensions for rack products so we can 3d-print it?
Is the new winbox missing “COPY” ? (Duplicating an entry, say a VLAN interface/etc). MikroTik should advertise the UA-cam channel in their hardware packaging. Get more viewers! Keep up the great work.
Can you introduce the ability to have the same key strokes in winbox like in cli. F4 for safe mode being one? Also wireless I know you have a ton of videos about capsman but it's still a lot. Maybe dude tutorials?
Exactly! It is like Mikrotik does this on purpose claiming that the tabs are back, here on UA-cam, the newsletter and even on the forums and ignoring everything else. There's a lot of posts in the WinBox 4 topic on Mikrotik forums, the only problem is that they are ignored.

Not exactly what we asked for, but seeing how much time it took to implement these anchors, I pretty much lost hope that tabs will be implemented the way it was in WinBox version 3. For now I will stay on WinBox v3.41, but I'm afraid that after a while newer RouterOS versions will not allow you to use such old versions anymore. Please, please, please return tabs even in interface windows without seeing the other tabs collapsed. I don't mind if "anchors" (tabs) are on the left, just utilize vertical space optimally. Every screen I use is in landscape mode and not portrait.

In my view you need to focus on: - Wi-Fi 7 (you guys still launching Wi-Fi 6 when competition already jumped on to that wagon) - More 2.5 and 10 Gbps switches with PoE++ - More Routers with 2.5 Gbps and 10 Gbps (big gap between RB5009 and CCR2004)
Agree, RB5009 is overkill for me, but for home user they have nothing acceptable, also they have no POE 2.5G switch (that could be easily bought on aliexpress), and wifi, mikrotik wifi is most annoyed and poor wifi in galaxy.
Good Day Mikrotik. Firstly thank you for our overall support and the community. But May I perhaps ask for expansion on the default settings to offer more advanced features like wizard setups. I am a total newbie in whole it concept and trying to learn the correct methord to apply changes to hardware is not always easy if truely dont know the whole processes. And yet one tried to do more advanced/enterprise changes for devices. For the scriptings section why not offer option to load more advanced features configurations. Each of those scripts are vetted for select range item... and checks for Router OS requirements in advance as example... as i seen changes to os may break some scripts.
please!!!! fix the sorting in simple queue and queue tree it's gonna mess up in new winbox 4 just like winbox 3 it sorting according to parent queue then child queue

1. Where is RB5009 with 8 POE 2.5G ports? I bought cheap switch from aliexpress for 70$ to add to my 5009, unfortunately Mikrotik can not provide me similar experience. 2. When mikrotik finally release some good powerful combain for home users: good 6E-7 wifi with power router like 5009? Now I had to add not only switch to my RB5009 and also wifi AP from Grandstream 7664 (all connected by 2.5G ports), which provide me awesome almost 2Gbit speed via wifi, why I have to buy and build all such circus?!

The only reason I use web apps is no one makes desktop apps or even depreciates the desktop app and moves everything online (thanks Ring)

What about a standard 8,16,24 port POE Switch. You have bigger range but not just basic 1Gig POE

We have many products that have a DIN rail mount right out of the box. NetBox, NetMetal, LTAP, even the CRS304-4XG-IN have DIN rail mounts.
