I have a quick question.
At the beginning of the month when you strived to get 5M impressions to become eligible for payout, were you paid for those impressions? Or did it start counting after you were approved for monetization?
Again, you had 100k+ impression and you mentioned “you only get paid for verified impressions.” Does it mean that people without blue tick don't add value to your impression?
Also, to get your initial 5m impression to be eligible for monitization, does the above statement apply here or both premium users and normal accounts adds up to the 5M required impressions?
1. You only get paid for impressions after you are monetized.
2. Correct, you will not get paid when unverified people view your posts.
3. All impressions count toward the 5 million. Unverified + verified.

No, my understanding is that you only get paid starting after you were monetized
i’ve been monetized for a couple of weeks now and i still haven’t received a payout/my stripe account still says 0.00. is there a timetable for how long it’ll take for me to receive my first payout and how do i get ads to show in my replies or are they already there?
You probably haven’t made $10 yet. You won’t get a payout until you reach that. Ads should be showing in your replies right away, even if you can’t see them.

You don’t need to wait for the notification. As soon as you are eligible you can sign up

I have a question: when you reached the thresholds, was the start of ad revenue sharing automatic? Or did you have to connect your bank account first? Was it instantaneous after that?
Because here's a theoretical scenario I'm wondering about:
Let's say you have all thresholds met except for impressions, but you don't want to farm it, and just use twitter like normal. But then, you have A SINGLE TWEET that blows up to over 50M impressions in A DAY after going viral. After that lucky tweet, I'm wondering if it's set up so you get to reap the rewards immediately while it's hot.
Because then, even if you lose monetization later, you might get lucky again in the future - and that's honestly a decent incentive to get people to on premium: just in case you can monetize that ONE time you get 15 minutes of fame.
My understanding is that once you sign up for premium, it starts tracking your revenue.
However, in order to receive a payout, you have to meet the thresholds and connect your Stripe account.
So theoretically, you could have $100 of revenue generated, but you wouldn’t get it until you connect Stripe.

What if I don’t reach 5m impressions in 3 months ? Does it reset or is it a mission fails forever ?
It just tracks however many impressions you got in the last 3 months. So you can just keep going until you reach it

Those 150k are from both posts and replies. In my experience with monetization, you do not get paid for replies.

I’ve learned a lot since this video. The RPM is impossible to predict because we only get paid for ad impressions from verified users. But they don’t tell you how many verified ad impressions you got.
It's been 5 day's since i have completed my 10 million impressions but still didn't get payout.

Payouts are sent every two weeks on Friday. The next one will be sent on May 24.

You have to do 3 things to get monetized:
- Subscribe to X premium
- Get 500 followers
- Get 5 million impressions in 90 days
If you have done all those things, you are immediately eligible.
How many X account I can create with same email and mobile number? And how many of those accounts can be verified with the same mobile number?
Only 1 account per email. You should be able to verify 5 with the same phone number

The issue I have is that it's such a mystery how much they will actually pay you. I find it very difficult to find my stats also. And it's a shit ton of work if you subtract the monthly subfee. Its a smart move from X because you get a ton of engagement at a very low cost, but it's not that nice for the users.Maybe this will change maybe not. Thnx for sharing
Yeah, it can be frustrating when you start because you don't make that much. For it to be worth it, you have to keep posting for a long time and grow your audience.

If you sign up on the computer it is $84 USD a year, which is cheaper than signing up on iOS

I think you are referring to posts where I share a video from the NFL’s account.
You can reshare anyone else’s video on mobile by tapping and holding on the video, then pressing “post video.”

Hey bud, let's say for example I subscribe to premium, get 500 followers and hit the 5 million impression mark in a week. Can I start monetizing right away or do wait 3 months still to do so?
As long as your account is older than 3 months, you should be able to monetize right away

It’s hard to say an exact number, but it’s more about people going to your comment section. Even if they don’t make a comment themselves, if they read other people’s comments, you’ll get paid more

Theoretically, yes, but it’s a little more complicated than that, since you only get paid for verified impressions.

I have had the same issue many times. Check out one of my videos about shadow bans and that should help. There are a bunch of reasons why this happens.

Do you think it's more verified if you do celebrities and videos of them? I have no interest in them, I just think that would be money if I posted about it. I want to do as side work when studying 🤣 When I looked it up, seems like many accounts around the celebrity world and gossip sites and people interested in it is very much verified. So I am thinking to start something about that.
On X, you only get paid when verified accounts read your comment section. So, it is possible to make money from it, but it’s not as profitable as business or finance content.

If your only goal is to make ad revenue from X, it’s not worth it. You need additional revenue streams such as affiliate links and promos for it to be worth it.

Cause in the analytics it's showing that my account is generating thousands of impressions but I couldn't find specifically.
In analytics it shows all your impressions combined. However, you only get paid for impressions on your timeline posts.

Payments are made every two weeks on a Friday. If you don’t receive anything in Stripe that day, you didn’t earn enough to get paid for that pay period

They take about a week and a half to approve your account, so it's nothing to worry about. I also waited and kept refreshing until I gave up and just waited. You'll get approved 👌 👍
