I am just now finding your videos. I LOVE your personalities. I love the light hearted and joyous attitudes that you both have. We will be traveling to Colorado now the first half of June 2024. Ever since I heard about Ouray, the Switzerland of America, I knew I must visit. We will be hitting the Rockies, Telluride, Mesa Verde, Ouray, travel that Million Dollar highway plus much more in the two weeks that we have. I am getting excited after finding your videos and getting just a glimpse of the beauty. :)
Thanks for the drive through Silverton. My grandmother was born there in 1898, her parents, my greats are buried in Silverton. On my bucket list to visit the area and drive the million dollar highway. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! Ouray is one of our favorite places. Hope you guys got to try the hot springs. Hwy 550 is super sketchy, but so pretty. Glad you made the trip and got to see it. Thanks for sharing and travel safe.
Hi guys! We got about 5 miles up from Ouray on the Million Dollar Hwy and I JUST COULDN'T DO IT! Had to turn around. I know now that part is the scariest from what you showed. Dang! Wish we had gone on. What time of year were you there? I always want to know when you're visiting a place so if I love what I see, I can go there that time of year. Happy travels!
I've been down this road several times, first was in the early 60's when my dad drove a Ford Fairlane down it. Ten years later I was a young adult and drove it in the winter, roads frozen and no chains! Then a couple of times I rode my ancient Harley down it a couple of times. Now I'm in my 70's and some of the medications I'm taking give me vertigo, my hiway 550 days are probably over.
When i first started driving a semitruck 2 years ago. Me and my trainer drove through it in the middle of winter at night in a semitruck. 2 weeks in of ever driving a semitruck truck. Closest I've ever been to dying
This road did have guard rails (blocks, actually), but then they realized it was impossible to plow the snow. So, they opted for the lesser of two evils (avalanches can literally destroy the road)
Ouray & Silverton in the fall... nothing screams Colorado louder. Another great vid. One last HAVE TOO before you leave Colorado. Cruise the Glenwood Canyon, and stay in any one of the "W" sites at Glenwood Springs West / Colorado River KOA Holiday - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, you'll see why... def worth the few xtra dollars.😎
I rode the million dollar highway on my Harley from Silverton to Ouray. This was on the outside lane of the hy and was very scary since your right at the edge. The way you went ( south ) is less scary as your on the inside lane. Awesome scenery that's for sure. Take Care
Try driving semi trucks over this in the winter. Or better yet a snow plow. I worked out of Silverton normally to the too of Red Mountain. Ouray Normally does the north side. But we both had to do each others sides at times. Mix in avalanches and rock/mud slides.
Awesome guys! …..and that’s why they call it “Colorful Colorado”. Soooo, I’m thinking Durango next, train ride maybe? BTW, You guys so seamlessly incorporate sponsored items into your content in a great way that informs and makes sense.😎
You shown going southbound then northbound, then back and forth and that maybe confusing to people not familiar driving over Red Mountain Pass Highway. There's this semi-truck driver who goes by his UA-cam channel name of Riding Shotgun. He has driven both directions on this highway. He has driven across Western United States in all seasons. One video of driving northbound on Coal Bank Pass then it becomes Molas Pass, it looks like a 2,000 FEET dropoff. However there's GUARDRAILS there unlike on Red Mountain Pass it's basically non existing. Take the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad from Durango to Silverton. It's about a 3 hour trip from what I heard before. One of a restored riding car had U.S. President Grant rode in. There was western movies filmed in Silverton and this railroad I believe.

San Juan is a bit spicy in Wonderland. You 2 are the perfect travel companions. Cool , unique blend, highly entertaining.

WOW SO BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤
Thanks Taylor!! .💪🏽
At $285 I'd be nervous about the hose being stolen.
You should sell that type of hose
Mexican highways in the mountains are like this - no barriers, like they are going to save you.
😂
Duuuuudes.... niiiiize!
Heck yea 🤘🏽
It must be clarified that this was a million dollars per mile.
One mile of this road cost a million dollars
Did I just see In N Out socks? Lol
Heck yea! 🤘🏽
No offense, but if I’m going on a road like that, my girl will not be driving 😂

You should have rented a jeep and drove Black bear pass. This is a really beautiful area.
