They probably should have banned me from getting involved in snowball fights. 1. I can't aim to save my life. 2. The world does not need any accidental eunuchs.
Story 1 - You do what will make you safe in the long run. I'm reminded of Jennette McCurdy's biography where she talks about her life with her abusive Mom, and she got flack for it. It's called 'I'm Glad My Mom Died', and frankly, it's all about deserving the relationships. If you screw it up, especially badly, and hurt people, people are allowed to cut access. Story 2 - Absolutely not. I loathe people who steal food for no reason. I can understand if you need it and I'll look the other way. If I buy it with my money, especially with a restricted diet, leave it alone. When in doubt - buy your own fridge in your room and get a lock, and I am proud OP did the logical thing. In no way shape or form, if you live in a communal area, you do NOT share food... and I wonder if it's how they're raised. If they're mad, get over it. If they're trampling THAT boundary, what else are they trampling? Oh, they're skimping on bills. They're mooches. Story 3 - some snowballs hurt as it depends on the type of snow. The school board probably had a problem with kids throwing snowballs at people, probably teachers. Ours was just no throwing things (including snowballs). I bet it's an interesting story as to WHY it happened, for sure!
Story 2- Op is NOT the ah, those roommates are not allowed to eat the food because THEY DID NOT PAY FOR IT. That is NOT being selfish, and being roommates does not make you entitled to other peoples things. It is literally stealing, especially because op has already told them to stop. These roommates are mooching off op and op is right. This is RIDICULOUS.
on the story where the OP isn't letting the mom in, I think the saying "don't set yourself on fire to keep someone else warm" is very applicable. If it is going to harm OPs mental health, she shouldn't do it.
personally i would've just tampered with my food (like putting some gross stuff in it, too make it inedible like something simple like toothpaste or laxatives) & if the roommates got mad at me for doing that then don't get into my food! it's that simple! but if that didn't work i would've done the same thing as the op in the second story & just hid my food away from everyone. 🤷♀
We did that at my old job, but some people genuinely don't care. We left a tuna fish, sriracha, jalapeno, and pepper jack sandwich in the fridge, and they ate it... and had the audacity to complain it was hot. Store management refused to do anything
@@thatpuffberry Some people are just rude and entitled. We put up with them for three years. I think they stole lunches from everyone, including management before they finally got caught stealing on the sales floor.
The roommates are crazy to feel entitled to her food. It sounds like maybe OP is seen as the "wealthy" one. These days a lot of students think if someone has more money they OWE all their acquaintances. Completely bonkers.
Why why WHYYYYY is the pressure always on the person who was wronged to "forgive" and "give them another chance"??? Why isn't the pressure on the person who screwed up to make amends, apologize, change their behavior, etc???? *screams*

I love Jennette! dude 100% on what other boundaries they must be violating 😳 and good point on the hardness of the snow!

@@PocoMusesSAME!!! Imagine having the audacity to be angry with someone for not letting you steal their food..? I don’t get it.

@RynKimVay wow.. I'm really sorry about that. Some people just suck sometimes 😔 I just hope things have gotten better

But yeah apparently students have been either arrested or detained by police

I know right? How do they honestly think that’s okay?
