Fun fact: The parliament Guard is voiced by CallMeKevin - an Irishman! Which might be why he may sound familiar if you watched his content. He did a video on this game specifically to showcase that he was a voice actor and was so happy to be apart of it.
I had this on in the background and I heard an Irish accent and thought "Wait...that's freaking Kevin isn't it!?" I knew he was in the game but had kind of forgot, this is such a fun project.
fun fact: most knew that already. The first part, we can imagine the second part would be quite obvious. I hate his videos. I tried watching a while ago to find some info out about some games...god he just trolls.
It's a real shame that Jon slipped past the radar of video game UA-camrs to make a cameo in Fallout London. There's got to be a few roles he'd be perfect for. But I'm glad that Kevin had the chance.
Happy to see the Fallout London Series continueing! Especially since i'm German who has been to London several Times, especially around Christmas because i'm addicted to certain Harrod's Christmas Tin Box Teas, so i enjoy someone from England or in the Case of Jon from around London explaining certain Things Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
That dungeon was actually part of Neeher's Select Shotgun mod for regular Fallout 4, neat that they transplanted it to FOLON and gave it that escape ending. Could have done with changing that stupid underwater keycard though.
Oh god, that underwater card. The worst bit of quest design in the game. I like that they tried to avoid quest markers in these types of quest, but combine that with almost zero visibility and no aqua girl, and it's a recipe for frustration.
@TheUltrahypnotoad doesn't stop it from being terrible quest design. I applaud the no quest markers generally, but no clues, no visibility etc make this a poor bit of quest design, whatever the origin.
I applaud John for getting through it because it took me hours to complete. I had to enable god mod just to find the third key. I normally never have to do that.
I find it very gratifying that you still call it the Millennium Dome rather than The O2 - it might have been known as the O2 for longer but it was the Millennium Done first goddammit!
She Who Dares is apparently actually instigating which was okay for a while for my playthrough and I used it right up until I got an explosive combat shotgun. I like THAT more than my never ending musket and that thing is RIDICULOUS
Miller sounds like Delvin Mallory from Skyrim to me. Also did not realize CallMeKevin would sound so familiar even when he's trying to sound a bit different.
Nice to see the room with the "feeder" was from another mod that neeher released (a shotgun mod). Good use of "recycled" work. :) yes he did release other mods for FO:L use
Hey Jon, I highly suggest you find the statue near the Elephant and Castle (just southeast of the Imperial War Museum/Southwark ruins), solve the puzzle and get a unique energy weapon with some frankly hilarious effects on it. You wont be disappointed :)
36:06 As for She Who Dares, some comments are saying it's Instigating, which is awesome for sure, but I also noticed it has super high accuracy and range for a shotgun weapon! 83 range and 163 accuracy is incredible for a shotgun
Yeah the Lost Tommies quest a little buggy for everyone and I had to look up a guide to even get through it my first playthrough. They really took the no handholding approach to the quest with no markers or hints.
It's a testament to how long it's been since I've watched one of his videos that I didn't recognize CallMeKevin's voice. *facepalm* Booo me. But hey, Aria DEFINITELY had some pretty interesting adventures around London today -- that Pindar, man. I knew the bastards in blue had something to do with it. I'm looking forward to seeing what's going on with Jane next week, and if she's really a feral or something else...
If you want a safer way to the airport, head to an area south of Thameshaven (that big grey area) and look for a junk fence guarded by some Gatherers. Head through the fence and through the next door to start a new quest there.
Not much sightseeing in this episode, thank christ, but it did take Jon half of the episode to remember that he has a torch, which tends to help out a lot when stumbling around in the dark.
You know, I would have loved if blowing up the Eye ended up turning London into some Fallout: Frost level radioactive hellscape. Really hammer in the "Consequences" part of "Choice and Consequences".
My my... Jon makes the Lost Tommy quest looks easy. It took me forever to figure out shooting the fuse box in the beginning, and the water section for the card ID took me so many tries even with instructions from others. 😅 All in all, I kinda like that quest. It has a lot of neat puzzles that are much more interesting than the typical fetch quest. That and John Marsh's quest are most memorable for me. Looking forward to Jon doing that one!
I always knew that Jon is a charitable soul. He didn't shoot a guy in the face immediately for calling him poppet. Unless that is less patronizing in proper Queen's English than it is in other English.
he doesn't need much prompting to do raider stuff in this game. Like why did you kill a friendly for a hat, when you just replace it 10 minutes later? He is a raider at heart
In Fallout the Rifle perks affect shotguns too, Jon (annoyingly) dismisses them all because when he has his mind set on only using pistols, everything else is "not for him". (Even though he uses a sniper rifle half the time)
Since Canada "parted" with Britain way later and on good terms, I would make an educated guess and say, it's probably the other way around: mounties looking like they do because of sth the brits have
Day 260 of requesting Age of Mythology. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, and justice is certainly supposed to be blind. Therefore, logic dictates that for there to be justice the London Eye needed to continue existing in the skybox. Either that, or the masterfully created mod has one or two minor glitches. Whichever is true, I'm totally fine with it.
Fun fact: The parliament Guard is voiced by CallMeKevin - an Irishman! Which might be why he may sound familiar if you watched his content. He did a video on this game specifically to showcase that he was a voice actor and was so happy to be apart of it.

You passed an undamaged hazmat suit in that submarine base next to the mittenlurk.
I would like to think that someone set up a holographic projection of the London Eye exactly where it used to be, just to piss off Tenpenny!
A Wild Kevin appeared
you need master lockpick to find out what happens to him....
The insanely furious Karen will be soon.
17:26 I love that Miller has the mad max jacket, and I'm guessing his name is a reference to George Miller the guy who made mad max
It's unmarked, but 'She Who Dares' is also 'Instigating'. Upgrade it to six shots and solid slugs and it's a beast.
Jon, consider taking the 'Sneering Imperialist' perk. The VATS bonus is great but the dialogue options are hilarious

That is so funny Jon blows up the eye but its still there in the back ground 😁.
Is that Kevin of CallMeKevin fame I hear?
Yes it is indeed
No that's Jim Pickens, easy mistake to make
That dungeon was actually part of Neeher's Select Shotgun mod for regular Fallout 4, neat that they transplanted it to FOLON and gave it that escape ending. Could have done with changing that stupid underwater keycard though.

The dungeon is an entirely separate mod that has been absorbed into FO:London.
@TheUltrahypnotoad doesn't stop it from being terrible quest design. I applaud the no quest markers generally, but no clues, no visibility etc make this a poor bit of quest design, whatever the origin.
@@phoenixheart79 I agree.

I hope Bethesda is watching though, FO London tries a lot of things, not all of them work but some of them are great.

This is a very John centric episode. Two npcs both called John and obviously MATN Jon. Not every person in Britain is called John BTW.
I’m glad you finally got to the guard voiced by Kevin, I’ve been waiting for it since literally the start of this series.
Miller sounds like Delvin Mallory from Skyrim to me. Also did not realize CallMeKevin would sound so familiar even when he's trying to sound a bit different.
Always love a good UA-camr cameo! 2:55

Brilliant game, love the script, love the inventive dungeon. 44:51 is the hardest I’ve laughed in ages. GET TO THE LADDER GET TO THE oh
A+ episode. FOLON is such a deep and rich game, I love it.
In your defense, you only meant to blow the bloody doors off?
It's absolutely fantastic how fluidly the guard uses gender neutral language for Smythe.
It's such a small thing, in reality, but it's wonderful.
😂

You've so far missed 2 backpacks and an upgradeable set of armour.

i use a mod to make most armor under armour capable. They went a bit overboard with blocking that.
As with the searching for keys and key cards.
"She Who Dares" is a shotgun.
With more than one bullet capacity per chance?
I always knew that Jon is a charitable soul. He didn't shoot a guy in the face immediately for calling him poppet. Unless that is less patronizing in proper Queen's English than it is in other English.

The cavalier hat is kinda ok? Jon, what is up with your sense of fashion. Good heavens.
He turned down a ushanka!
The ghoul at the Pindar station never had a card in my game. I had to mod in an extra one.
