My four budgies plus the pair that belong to my niece and my one cockatiel take showers with me on platforms made for them. My cockatiel I adopted from a relative in the family who couldn't take care of him anymore. Tweedy the cockatiel was already used to showering because of my relative did the same thing for a long time. The birds also got my nine now ten year old now niece into the habit of good hygiene via showering and oral hygiene. She loves to shower with the birds and brush her teeth with them watching. They don't mind the water and they love being sprayed with a spray bottle and being under the shower head with the water only touching them from the shoulders down. They love that it's a bird spa for them and when time to take a shower they get all excited. 😂
Doing the dishes in the sink is one of the best ways to get them interested and then before you know it they wanna get in there. Just make it calm and explore things with them
