Dang I’m so jealous APTA Expo is one of the transit conferences I’ve yet to check off the ol bucket 😭😭 My local transit agency was offering limited tickets / admission when it was in town but alas people with seniority or higher up the ladder hogged them 😭😭
The zero emissions bus is all over the place here now in LA with football transit and metro. They made the switch a few years ago and I’ve seen them get more and more popular.
I had the privilege of driving one of these buses on my route. My company only has two at the time, but hopefully they will get more. All transit buses are beautiful until you start hauling the element. That's when you get the graffiti and other various degrees of tagging from the local gang members.
Oh wow! The wheelchair section is impressive. I've seen how that wheelchair holder worked in a video. The bus is so clean and nice. One thing I would be worried is the seats have cloth on it and, as you know people, their gonna dirty that up quick. Worst case scenario, if a person defecated on those cloth seats.😢 But the bus and the driver's section looks awesome and state of the art!

Next week is vacation for me so I am going to Nashville, TN to visit my auntie for a week. She really love it down south.

Yup. We have the same buses here in La with metro and it is so sad people break everything on the bus and ruin it with trash and stains. Sad.

My uncle drive Pace buses in Joliet IL and most of the buses out there are 30 foot buses.
