Personal experience here. I have the OnePlus 9 Pro, the iPhone 12 Pro Max and the Galaxy S21 Ultra. All 256 GB storage, all in use with their own SIM Card. Question was: in which one to place my Primary SIM card. So I used them for some time, testing and rating the following parameters: Ergonomy, screen, battery, daylight photography, night mode photography, quality of warranty service (and post warranty expiration too!) and battery life. The winner had to have BALANCED high score in all aspects, so that the general experience will be enjoyable (until I buy a new flagship, that is 😉). Results: #3, the S21 Ultra, mainly because under par in night photography, not handy to carry, heavy. #2, iPhone 12 Pro Max, mainly because notch and too wide, difficult ergonomy. #1 OnePlus 9 Pro, great score in all criteria, winning hands down in Vendor support, ergonomy (narrower and much lighter) and night mode photography, as well as great score in speed and ease of use (Oxygen OS is as wonderful as it always was). Battery is decent, no problems there, BUT it comes with a 65 watt charger that goes from 0 to 100% in those incredible 29 minutes. No need to spend extra, it's included. So, I'm back to OnePlus ❤️

Honestly I've used both phones and from my personal experience Samsung phones are always nice and fast for the first 1-2years then they hit a brick wall and become stupidly slow. My Oneplus 6 I've had for nearly 3 years and occasionally I notice it a bit slower with certain things but honestly it opens up stuff almost instantly like when I first bought it
@@David-bj8ri You can't make claims like that without any actual evidence. My Note 10 runs as fast as my sisters Oneplus 8, which has a Snapdragon 865, compared to the note 10s 855. It's been 2 years since I have had the phone. The only thing that has degraded is the battery and even that is to be expected.
same experience with samsung, after 2-3 years the phone became unusable and the battery is shot, don't handle heat well. I think they need to be water cooled like the xiaomi redmi note 8 pro, I think the heat sinks start failing after 2- 3 years or something... But so far I have experienced this with any android phone probably go with one plus because of your comment though.
@@wazup3333 It's very unlikely a hardware problem, they use the same components as a lot of other manufacturers (they likely have better smaller bits like wifi and bluetooth adapters maybe). I think it comes down to intentional software slowdowns, big companies like apple have been caught doing dodgy s**t like this, when your company is so far on top you can get away with stuff like that more. Could also be down to the way phones charge, my Oneplus used to dissipate the heat from charging to the power brick rather than using the phone like quick charge devices do, perhaps that's having way more strain on battery than is clear
Just a bit annoying that every time galaxy just juuust a bit faster it was "slightly to the galaxy" but when the oneplus was faster just a little bit it was "pretty similar/equal there" but a great vid :)

Yes , agree. However the latest 2100 Exynos in the S21 Ultra is much better, not yet at the level of the Qualcom offer, but quite close. I should know, I have both the S21 Ultra and the OnePlus 9 Pro.
@@rss5969 Decent on the S21 Ultra, but less than I was expecting. One day, reasonable load. The Oneplus 9 Pro is less durable, because the Snapdragon 888 heats up a lot, and battery struggles to last the whole day even with moderate load. So, I believe the S21 Ultra with Snapdragon 888 may as well suffer a bit of the same type of problems. Curiously, I went back to my Exinos S10 Plus, just because I love that thin body and... despite being already a bit outdated, it still holds pretty well for the day! As for standby consumption, it will vary hugely on account of the networks you use and which apps you let run in the background. Anyway, much worse in Android than in IOS.
I wonder if Samsung mods the SD888 to perform less on the s21 line so that it makes the Exynos s21 look better? Certainly on benchmarks the s21 is beaten convincingly by the OP9P. Not that this makes much real world difference but highlights the disparity of the Exynos despite the marketing that Exynos is now back, it is not! My conclusion is that in the flagship sector apart from Exynos, anything with the SD888 will be fast and that performance is no longer a category that consumers should worry about. The only caveat is that if you are more than a casual gamer, then a gaming phone is a wise choice. So for me the excellent base OP9 at around UK £600 is a bargain and ATM my number 1 phone of 2021 for value with the SD888.
