I've seen him live multiple times bc I'm from CDO (his hometown), he is simply amazing even before he got signed up by o/c and viva records. The best performance I've seen of him was during his promotions for his album letters never sent, he upgraded most of his runs live. It was magical, literally every centavo spent on him never goes to waste.
Personally, people here are so used to that kind of setup. That’s how teens learn to sing, just jamming with friends in a corner somewhere.

my 12 yr old son asked me to drop him at the mall where there was a free concert of arthur nery. and i tell you, i have never heard loud screams and noises from teenagers in my entire life.it is a good feeling because a lot of kids were enjoying after the pandemic.

I thought when I was in highschool this kind of occasion is so normal around the world, jamming session is so often here in the Ph and maybe thats why most of us are irritated with lipsync. Live singiing became a tradition.
