Zack Ryder/Matt Cardona made WWE so much money, just by the example he set. Vince repayed him with a U.S. title (which he lost quickly), hot on screen girlfriend (who cheated on and betrayed him), and being repeatedly destroyed for a John Cena story.
12:45 yeah back during the time when Kane would chokeslam AND tombstone women, Steve Austin would give them stunners and the Dudley boys would straight up put them through tables wwf was wild😭
One wrestler who only had one World title opportunity during their time in WWE that wasn't mentioned on this list was Sting who at Night of Champions in 2015 faced Seth Rollins for the title. Sting went on to lose this match which was not surprising & I thought at the time that once he healed up from his injuries sustained in that match that he would at least wrestle a few more matches in WWE (including maybe facing the Undertaker at Wrestlemania) before retiring. However thanks to Vince's tendency to absolutely bury anything WCW, we never got to see that & in fact that match with Seth Rollins was Sting's last in WWE. It took Sting going to AEW for him to actually get a proper final run & was one of the few things that AEW has done right.
a little context for the Sheamus vs Ryder match. It was in 2010 and in Sheamus 2nd reign and he had to defend the title in the 30 day rule (shocker they used this) and he chose ryder who had never been in a world title match before so therefore that was the reason. Wanna see a really good title match Triple H v Taka Michinoku on RAW (10/04/2000). That match was fire on free tv plus Taka payed the APA to be at ringside to stop anyone interfering
Spike Dudley actually had a match with Austin for the title after he ripped up Austin’s petition it was the WWE title not the Heavyweight title but given the Cena/Bischoff and Stephanie entries it seems like an oversight lol
With Spike Dudley Wrestlelemia had it a little bit wrong ...becouse you see back in 2001 Spike faced Steve Austin for the WWF Title and on the following week Holly Molly gets stunned by Austin and Spike ends up getting his ass whipped
Technically the Spike Dudley one was a lie? Didn’t him and Steve Austin face 1v1 for the WWF Title? ua-cam.com/video/ArhQRJDBt0A/v-deo.htmlsi=meHh3bxPHxfOTVME
tha fabulous moolah was a 4 time women’s world champion but i guess wrestlelamia is just talking about the mens title… and he puts guys that had multiple world title matches in the video so why would i expect him to make any sense at all? and the thing about stephanie getting the spinebuster, jim cornette has a saying about what can happen to women in a wrestling ring about the move being seen as something that has been reported as domestic abuse and i dont think there has ever been a domestic violence case where the woman was spinebustered so i think its fine. same with randy orton rko’ing nia in the royal rumble.
It’s already been established that if you need IMMEDIATE heat, turn on Rey.
hes the biggest face of all time, it makes sense to turn heel on him.
Worked on Sting from the 80's to the early 2000's, why not continue the tradition with Rey Rey.
Seth Rollins vs Neville was an amazing match. The foot on the rope near fall was genius
If you go into WWE vault there's a match between Triple H vs tajiri in Japan
I got that video suggested to me earlier today, out of nowhere.
Oh yeah that's a great youtube channel, all the classics and unreleased matches be on there
Question is that a wwe page or is that non wwe related
@@kingd5931 It seems non WWE related but the way they upload, it seems like a legit vault channel
Its a wwe page @kingd5931
Another great reaction ross yeah,🔥🔥,great thumbnail and title of the video as well,I remember some of them

They should bring back the championship scramble match
They did but in NXT. It's called the Iron Survivor
Agree
Great video man 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.

They have a lot of people that got put in catering😭

If Ray ever had a heel turn there would be a good reason long term storytelling
He was a heel in WCW, but never in WWE. He's definitely got heel heat before though at 2014 Royal Rumble, which they could've worked off of.
He forgot about chyna
All that brass ring talk was BS. Vince was so full of it most times smh.
Have rey turn on dom right when dom turns face and he's about to retire

Tajiri's only World Championship Match.

Didn't spike fought against Austin for the title back on 01 like on smackdown I believe this would've been 2 times not 1
Didn't chyna go for the title too
AM FIRSTTTTF
undertaker was to vader but he got hurt
Every wrestlers failed to become champion
Not Paige in her debut match
Sheamus wasn't WWE champion in 2011
😂
@mongomongo you are correct i just saw that match it was great
