I don't understand why when I was watching on TVB JADE, there was no subtitles and the audio was unstable. But when watching it on internet, it's clear and there are Chinese subtitles. Why?
Yes it’s Cantonese. It’s a different dialect from Mandarin which is the National language, it’s the major dialect of Guangzhou and the older generation Chinese diaspora. The actors are native Cantonese speakers.
@@TheSmokey1523 The main issue is, the audio was unstable when I was watching it on TV but when watching on the internet EVEN if without the subtitles, the voices of all the actors and actresses were loud and clear for me. Hence I am unsure was it because of Youku who purposely caused the audio (when viewing on TV Jade) to be soft and unclear, and then give it a good contrast of loud and clear on YouKu internet, so that it can draw the viewers to watch on the Internet instead of watching the show on TV Jade? I am aware it is Cantonese because I am a Cantonese and I understand Cantonese completely.
The audio in this video is Cantonese, which is Hong Kong people main spoken language, as this is TVB drama, so I'm more used to watch Hong Kong drama in Cantonese Dub

Yes, it is Chinese Cantone... If by "Cantone", you mean the Spanish word for Cantonese, then yes.. It is. The words, are a little bit more translated in mandarin. I don't know why. But they are speaking Cantonese. So the words spoken in the video is not the same as the written words dubbed. (This is kind of common in HK for some reason, because, they see the written words, as following book/publishing rules linguistically. This could explain why they do this.) They are speaking mostly in "白話" /Cantonese. In traditional society, "白話" is considered as slangs in the older Imperial chinese scholar system. So some people refuses to say it. It is like comparing Latin with Spanish. One formal, and the other not so formal.
