'I too had a love story was the first English novel I ever read. And god! what an emotional experience it was. I laughed, cried, and had butterflies in my stomach . Most importantly that book built a connection between me and Ravinder Singh which is unbreakable. Now I feel like I know this person, and his journey !

I remember I borrowed this book from my friend. Completed it in 2 days. Cried tons. I remember I wore dhaagaas on my wrist for khushi. Those times were something else! And here we are after years! Nostalgia hitting hard. ❤

After "I too had a love story " I couldn't muster courage to read "Can love happen twice" till now because I wanted to leave it there , unaltered. Indeed an emotional roller coaster, so much pain, so much love and how hard I wished it to be unreal. Ravinder Singh you've made yourself and your love story immortal ✨👏🏼

This was the first book which i read... currently i am just 12th passed std..i can't express my feelings when i read this book...when khushi was announced dead and how beautifully ravin explain his feelings when she is in icu.. it indicates that how much he loves his khushi...i just can't control my tears during the last few pages....it was the best and best love story..which i read❤

I just finished reading 'I too had a love story' and it's 1.47am. I'm sobbing like anything. I needed distraction and so I opened yt and this pops up on my home page. Now I'm sobbing, all over again 😭😭
I remember praying while turning the pages in the hope that Khushi will recover soon and that she will wake up healthy☺️
Every next paragraph was just tearing apart and I was numb for like an hour after completing the novel.
' I too had a love story ' was my first novel i ever read i remember i was in 10th grade done with board exams waiting for results knowing to do nothing that's when my aunt suggested me this novel...i just read a chapter of it later on i cudnt stop myself reading more and more ..i spent all my day reading this novel i was just sooo lost with this book , just imagining things the way they were written and at that point i didn't even know if this was a true story, n now when I listen to this person i just feel soo connected .....that book, those day's....were just amazing time of my life ❣️
Thank you so much Ravin Sir for providing us with a tiny little window to this magically tragic but beautifully pure love story, to give us something to boost our faith in love and in love stories, to make us all a part of this roller coaster ride. The story of Ravin and khushi didn't get a happy ending they (and all of us who were invested as much as them) truly wished for but that, in no way, means that the story is incomplete, it's as complete as them with each other because even though you both didn't get a lifetime together, the moments of love you had were worth way more than that! I don't have any words left to describe the beauty of this book, love is a rare thing and being loved is even rarer and when you get both, it feels like heaven is on your side but suddenly when the reason to have faith in it is snatched away from you and that too so brutally, you can't help but ponder over the thought as to what you did so wrong to having end up like this. I have finished the book right now and I suddenly had the urge to look you up, I needed to see you to believe the story was true because it feels so unreal. The moment where she comes to bid you goodbye in the bus, it's so painful yet so magical, she wanted to make sure that the love of her life lives without any burden, she wanted to see you happy, she wanted to make you happy and at last, she wanted to see you for one last time before turning into an angel. Yeah, I do believe she turned into one and she'll continue to protect her Ravin forever, it was only with her blessings that you were able to publish your book and it reached so many hearts! The way, whenever you were to mention her name, you used "my" before it, it just tells how much you loved her and it just felt so good. I didn't realise when, while reading your thoughts and feelings, I started taking them as mine, just saying "khushi" doesn't sit right anymore, I have become way more comfortable with "My khushi" or "Our khushi". But that's the beauty of novels at the end, the writer unknowingly casts a spell on the readers and pulls them in their world and that's why the magic stays in our hearts forever. It's the first non fiction novel that I've read and I strongly believe that it's the best one out there! God took her away from a hundred people who loved her with all their heart but you brought her to life in the hearts of millions of people, I am sure she is very happy, wherever she is. All the very best for your life ahead ❤
"I too had a love story" is my first English novel, which i read and became biggest fan of ravinder singh. I have read every novel that he written. I love his writing and eagerly waiting for a new novel ❤️❤️
There are these lines in the ending chapter where the author describes, "A funeral was happening in place of an engagement party and i am sitting here. It was supposed to be a day of happiness & but it turned into a sorrowful day" or something like that. It shook me to my core like i cried so much. The feeling of this book was ✨️
I was in my 12 when i read the book which i bought from store, cz of the name "Khushi" ❤️. Now a decade later, i am in my marriage age and suddenly thought of this book & came here to watch this 😢💐

Mujhe bhi us time likhne ka acha lgta tha,, fir 2017 me GIFLIF literature and art festival pehli baar Raipur (Chhattisgarh) me hua tha or aap as a guest aaye the or Maine waha poem recite kiya or Runner up rahi or aapne hume trophy diya... Us waqt tk mujhe nahi pta tha ki aap vo hi jinhone novel likhi hai or Maine aapki hi novel padhi hai.... It was great time and thank you for masterpiece... Lots of love from #chhattisgarh.
I too had a love story this book made me smile ,laugh, fantasize,cry also froze me and think. Think how cruel life can be .so unexpected . I was recommended to read this novel from one of the junior (Kratika) of my college and believe me, It's the best novel I've read so far. I was speechless and in silence after completion of this novel. How could someone loose the reason of their happiness. The way he lifted himself from that phase to becoming a great author is inspiring.

I TOO HAD A LOVE STORY was the first novel when I thought of reading a book with a simple language until I read that book.. I had no interest in reading at all ..but when the book came I read it in just 2-3 days. It was wonderful I was not able to wait for more days.. Thank uh Ravinder Sir.. for writing it. It developed my reading skill..
i find it so relatable . the thing is it was his dead beloved girlfriend but to me it was my beloved dad who gave birth to a poet inside me , you know you loose people in your life , they leave you leaving behind beautiful memories for you but what if they even leave u before creating the memories , i lost my dad when i was two and i don't know whether it was his unconditional love or my heart , he kept coming in my dreams telling me stories , poems and how to live life , and for me it started becoming a beautiful escape but the problem was now i had him beside me but only in my dreams and i wanted him beside me in real so just to make him alive , i started writing about him, turning those beautiful dreams into poems.
my dad will live in my poems as long as my poems live .

Sach bole toh I brought a book from my maasi naming " Tell me a story " from there I got to know about one of my favourite authors Ravinder Singh sir after completing that whole book which was absolutely immensly motivating and positive nobel I searched more books by him! And I downloaded a pdf of I TOO HAD A LOVE STORY and after reading that whole tthing I cried I literally cried my heart out! And coincidentally two weeks back my boyfriend bought this book and I'm too excited to snatch it from him and read hard copy of this masterpiece !!

This was my second novel after RV2020. I read these back to back in 10th class. Both the stories scared me about love due to their ending. Today I've read 15 novels back to back from foreign authors but the impact those two Novels had on my be unmatchable
I know I'm little late for this book but yess finally i made it and read it last night and have to tell this that i felt so connected to the story maybe that's because it's author's real story that's why it feels so real and relatable because the way he portrayed every single detail about his love and her girlfriend omg i just don't have words..i mean because of that girl he's the man who he is today❤ like for any girl that would be so great and special when her guy make her inspiration and write a book for her best feeling in the world he remembered everything every single date time place moment and what not but unfortunately not meant to be but ya happy that it happened ❤️

Thanks for giving me confidence and hope Ravinder. Mene apne kuch kisse kuch panno pe likhne shuru kiye the jinme pyaar aur maasumiyat ke saath dukh bhare hue the. Socha tha ki I'll get them printed some day. I never finished writing it but then now I think jo shuru kiya tha uss ko ek manzil tak pohonchana toh zaruri hai. 2023 it is, I'll get it printed if not published this year. Manifesting it here today.
after reading this book in 2014 i tried so hard as i was surrounded by people not knowing that this story will make me cry so hard , even after trying so hard i could't control my tears and they all started asking what happened what happened 😂

This was the first book I started to read.. Because I need to travel long in train from Chennai to Ranchi to attend my Best friend 'Shaadi'. I won't prefer reading a book at all even in my engineering but when I started to read I couldn't close it without completing. After reading this book I got to know that even books can show the feelings...I laughed, smiled, cried all emotions. Thanks for this wonderful book. I will also find my Khushi soon❤️🖤

The most emotional the most unexpected and unbelievable book i hade ever read was " i too had a love story" i forced my mom to buy this to me she told no need as it will the normal love stories but i had faith in ravinder sir that he is unique guy and im really glad a girl khushi got a boy like him a caring one ,, such a lucky one... just a unfortunate thing happend and it was messed up but still the courage the loving feeling the confidence he have is just like wow! I still cry when i hear the name " khushi " i can relate the pain but not as much him... Hats off for him bruh!! Hes damn strong❤big fan sir.. On my way to read all ur other books
