That’s the point the VENDORS ask the trick math questions the actual test is much more straightforward I don’t teach the trick questions because then you don’t learn the fundamentals. If you learn the fundamentals, you can work through any other trick questions, the vendor author, that you.
Thank you so much for this video! I kept saying I needed multiple questions back to back so it can stick and it comes just in time as I take my test Friday. I do need clarification on the convertible bonds math. On the 2nd question 1000 par/ $40 = 25 shares of common stock we can covert. Then 25 shares x $45 cmp = $1125. That’s more than $980 we would get for the bond. So we should convert them but should we sell the common stock or tender common stock to the company?
This is the best video and has saved my life. I have been taking practice exams and the math is kicking me A**. THANK YOUUUUUUUUUU

Convert and sell the stock. You don’t tender stock unless they make an actual tender offer for the stock
