Kenya is rich enough for all Kenyans not just a few.
No one should be struggling in Kenya. It is a very rich country but for a corrupt, greedy few who use guns and violence to intimidate and control the masses by force.

Prof , to further your thought on the topic
    'At The Point of Collapse'
There's something dangerous i have observed , where the Citizenry are comfortable around the Military (KDF)
They overpower the police, then when the government brings the KDF...., the wananchi srike a rapport with the military and even start cheering, giving Hi- fives to the KDF guys and in the process passing the message of " We are Better off under the military than politicians"
Slowly by slowly, our military will start to entertain Political Power and Appetite .
By bringing the military out of the Baracks to mix with protesters , the ruling class is courting danger.
Prof Kindly talk about this thing.
The danger of Military on the streets in Nairobi in the name of protecting the government in power.

I wholeheartedly disagree with you prof on this. I don't know what happened to you, you were a voice of reason just a few days ago. Let me break down my disagreements in point form:
    1. Kenyans have not broken the law nearly as badly as the government has. Demonstrations have been peaceful. Police have been dispersing, attacking and killing unarmed citizens. It is the government that is the law breaker, not the citizens.
    2. Goons have been brought in to create violence so as to discredit the demos. These have been paid by Nairobi politicians including the governor himself as we saw vis that video recorded at city hall. The burning of government installations has been an inside job, including parliament, city hall, many county halls. It's government violence, not citizen violence.
    3. Kenyans don't think of police as the enemy, only the killer cops. As you have seen even recently when a crowd of demonstrators met Bungei, the Nairobi police commandant, they did not attack him and instead they just changed "we are peaceful", eve though he is responsible for very many deaths in Nairobi through rogue cops under his command.
You are advising the wrong people here. Turn your attention to the government, they need to hear this message much more than the citizens.

Police unit is primitive and the system is colonial driven. The constitution is a pillar of hope to this century and the future. There is need of detail review of the police department and PURPOSE for the military and intense investment of the defence force. The country should focus on a Kenyan scout club. Let's protect the society and the future of our country.

There is nothing like "requesting the leaders." Leadership is a trait that is lacking among the political class in positions of governance. The statement should be "appealing for leadership from the political class."
A President, attending to home-coming celebrations for a CS nominee spells doom for a country. Executive work is demanding, and when one has no idea about the role, they bury themselves in operations. This, unfortunately, is our Waterloo, which will get worse as the next elections near. We are in trouble.

With all due respect it starts by respecting the Constitution. Once the leadership has disrespected and violated the constitution it becomes hard to govern the citizenry. The leadership not be as corrupt as is to obvious and get away with it.Lastly in a case where there is lip service to tribalism eradication what to you expect. It starts with the leadership living by example. Violence by the state begets violence. The abductions and police brutality and deaths etc only fuels hatred that will consume the country.

You talk about Obedience yet The Kenyan government and those making deals on behalf of the Kenyan people on the international stage are universally looked at as woefully incompetent and are the laughing stock of the developed world - when a kenyan representative walks into a meeting in Washington DC - London - Eastern Europe - Asia - they are looked at as fools - not competent negotiators to be reckoned with - THAT is what Gen Z is trying to change - There are hundreds of videos on youtube demonstrating the incompetence of the Kenyan police - and 'GSU' is just another gang of order followers with guns - they have zero understanding of the concept of 'Government by the people for the people'
