I have never played it myself; but going by the reviews online, it has the same problem that most ukuleles in this price range does i.e. it doesn't stay in TUNE for long enough... and that's extremely frustrating.
Short answer: For you (and other pretty big guys), a tenor ukulele is okay even at beginner's level. Long answer: Good question, Yash. These are the reasons why I don't recommend a tenor ukulele to beginners. 1. Cost: I look at ukulele as an instrument that one can buy at a low budget and try to learn and see whether they're interested in music. There are way too many people who invest in good beginner's instruments and lose interest a few months later; thereby wasting that money. Tenor ukuleles cost more than sopranos. That's why I recommend soprano for beginners. 2. Number of frets: Tenor ukuleles have more number of frets than a soprano and hence can be a little overwhelming for beginners. 3. Market Availability: Good quality tenor ukuleles are not as easily available in the market as sopranos; especially the good ones go out of stock really soon. [There is not a single tenor ukulele available on Amazon or Bajaao right now that I can whole-heartedly recommend you.] 4. Guitar-like Sound: As the size increases, so does the bass in the sound. Beyond tenor, I feel that ukuleles start sounding more like classical guitars than the distinct treble'ish ukulele sound. But having said all that, if you feel that even a concert ukulele is small for your fingers, then by all means, do go for a tenor ukulele. I hope that was helpful.
Hi Rohan. I m bit confused.i just love the size of the guitar but love the tone of the ukulele. Which one I should buy a ukelele or a guitar and please suggest model number as well. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
That's a tough one because bigger the size gets, you kind of start losing that ukulele tone. Hence I guess it will have to be a compromise on either side. So here's what I recommend: Kmise Baritone Ukulele: amzn.to/3q56zBN Here's it's review: ua-cam.com/video/Z5vFzZvFrRE/v-deo.html
Sir ,I already know to play guitar.and i find ukelele chords are much easier than guitar also..so,what is best type of ukelele fie me,superano, concert or tenor? Please suggest..
I always suggest a soprano because it has that distinct ukulele tone. The bigger the size gets, more bass gets added to the tone thereby making it sound more guitar'ish... since you can already play the guitar, maybe it's time to explore a completely new tone.
It maybe good, but it's not the best. If you're planning for a concert ukulele, I recommend KADENCE CONCERT SIZED UKULELE (with gig bag, built-in equalizer & tuner): amzn.to/3mEjcmr

Buy it before it goes out of stock.
