Wow, another way cool awesome truck! I like the way the lettering on the truck is like an advertisement to the person looking at the truck. My Dad bought a 52 Dodge power wagon that had been made into an ambulance and had sat at an airport all its life. Very low mileage like this "Little Mo". It would haul 6 people in the back beds. My Dad took the beds out and put some bench seats in it so we could ride back there. It was set up to run completely under water. Every thing on it was water proof. The air intake was through a pipe that went up into the headliner. If the driver could manage to drive it, it would keep running. We used it to go bird hunting in the sand hills of New Mexico for many years before my Dad sold it. I tried and tried to get him to let me have it but he sold it and I lost out. Thanks for posting these videos about these old vehicles, I really enjoy watching them!!!

There was a similar unit in Boonville NY on a Chevy chassis. It was used in the Adirondacks mostly for forest fires.

Outstanding UA-cam location for viewing truly one-of-a-kind historical trucks! I just found it yesterday and it is my new favorite. The workmanship and attention to detail on these trucks is amazing.
I am a fan of all 50’s and 60’s trucks, especially 1961-1966 Ford trucks. I have been looking for a 1964, 1965, or 1966 Ford 4-door crewcab or crew cab truck for many years. This was a truck that was custom made by a couple different coach companies right off the assembly line. They were used for forest service workers, railroad workers, and some firefighting back in the 60’s. Any chance that you would know any leads on how to find one?

i'm going to have to check but i'm thinking we had one of these in out little town when i was growing up as a kid and it burnt down in the old fire house we had right down the road from where i live. and i'm thinking it might be about 30 miles from here still in a old barn with about 5 or 6 more old fire trucks. i know he use to restore them then donate then to small towns until he passed away about 15 years ago. now they all just setting around rusting down.
