I like the worldbuilding in the image. I don't know how Taylor being a 3rd place ballerina who got in some accident/is sick and has a restrained relationship with their father could possibly be relevant for what happend with Gregory, but it's need non the less. Though with their obsession with the Butterfly Effect, I could see every event leading into each other

After 9:47 every ten minutes she gets photos on her computer, at the end what sounds like Gregory says “What do you want me to do? You want me to, Ok I’ll do it.”

ok i noticed at 55:02 taylor gets a message from what im assuming is a friend!! i think the username is emmynator, and the message says something along the lines of "i know you were unsure about it but are you sure you don't want to do the next panel?" maybe they are working on a comic together?? then a couple minutes later there's a shadow that appears on the right side of the video as someone leans in to tell taylor something and she nods her head (im assuming it's her mom, but it looks eerily similar to the sticky note drawing taylor has on her cork board) also this kid can draw !!! and the note from her friends is so sweet

I think the messages are about some sort of school project because later on someone else messaged her asking her to do their part on some kind of project. Or it is just a comic idk
I also felt that there was connection between the shadow of the person checking on Taylor and the drawing on her board. The message is from Timmynator and says “I know you were unsure about it, but are you sure you don’t want to do the next panel?” And before that there was a message from KaTeProBaBle “So I have cheerleading all this week which means I’ll be SUPER busy. mind if take my part of the group project? Thanx.” So I’m ordering it they’re all school projects since we also get a message from someone who was grounded after their parents talked with the principal
Here are some things I noticed about our character here. I will give timestamps on crucial things.
1.) Her name is Taylor
2.) She was a ballet dancer at some point (the shoes and the 3rd place trophy on the shelf)
3. She's into Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Sailor Moon and listens to Linkin Park. (Look at the bottom wall shelf. Linkin Park CD found under the desk.)
4. She's also got a Gameboy, GameCube, and I BELIEVE a Pokewalker (next to the green lamp, I'm not entirely sure that's what it is tho considering the pokewalker was released in 2010 in NA and 2009 in Japan.)
5. This is definitely in the 2000s era.
6. Look at the far right you'll see notes in between books that say "My Scrts" and "Tiny." Why are both the Es taken from what looks like "My Secrets"?
7. On the top shelf there is what looks like a rip off of a Mario plushie? Not sure what that's about.
8. She owns an Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary (very last book at the bottom wall shelf) which is the world's bestselling dictionary for the English language. Not entirely sure what she would need this for, maybe just as an antique?
Here on out these will be things I've seen on the computer.
36:00 A message pops on the computer with a user of CoolDad1962 saying "Hey, Kiddo. How are you?" Based on this alone, we can assume her dad is alive and he was born in 1962 which would give us a decent understanding of Taylor's age. I'm thinking she's in her early 20s. As to why he's crossed out in that photo and the CALL DAD is also crossed out on her to do list, is still a mystery.
39:42 I think she's downloading All Star by Smash Mouth? Neat. (Released in 1999)
41:07 Another message by SephyLove4Eva. This could be one of her friends, the one with the blue shirt in the photos. Something about being grounded. (I thought this was a college related thing due to the principle being mentioned but its not cuz I dont think college students living with their parents get grounded so maybe Taylor isn't in her 20s and she's still in High School.)

Basics about Taylor;
1. She enjoys ballet; on the shelf near her bed, she got 3rd place for a ballet competition. She probably still does ballet because her ballet shoes are thrown next to her bed, and not nicely tucked.
2. Taylor is a massive anime fan, and probably also wants to become a mangaka, or help produce anime. On her pin board we can see a character she drew with her signature. She has a sailor moon figurine on her shelf. In her trash can you can see thrown out manga pages(the artist probably found whatever), but a anime fan wont tear out pages of a manga just to throw it out, so its more likely that taylor is trying ti make her own manga, and being unhappy with the pages, throws them out.
3. Taylor enjoys puzzles and games. Behind her chair you can see a stack of board games. She has a unfinished rubix cube on her table. She has a controller next to the rubix cube, and also. Has a tamogotchi on her bedside table
4. Her favourite band is remnant. On her pinboard she has two tickets for a concert for remneant. And a poster for the band as well
5. Timeline(please be right) i think its sometime before july 31st. Because she has two tickets on her pinboard. A die hard fan wouldnt miss a concert of their favourite band, especially if they have tickets for it. So she probably has it there for when she does go to the concert. And its sometime after 2003, since the christmas songs on the shelf says '02, and based off the weather outside it is not winter.
6. Taylor has had a troubled homelife. Either her gather is dead or her parents are divorced. Based off the scratched out photo of his father taylor doesnt like him, and the fact that she scratched out "call dad" on her to-do list.
ATE
She loves her friends, and the little moments. She keeps pictures of her friends specifically a blonde haired girl. She hangs up a birthday card, as a memory. She wants to keep track of the little moments of happiness
She has a butterfly effect obsession. From researching it, to keeping butterflies all over the board.
Guys I know what all the CD’S beside Taylor say, one says linkin park (underlined), the next says from peeps (peeps =family or friends), the next one says winter (but above it it says summer with a line through it) and the last one says best songs 2000’s
If you look at the books on her shelf, she has "Looking for Alaska" by John Green. That came out in 2005, so that could be the earliest this could take place
her computer looks like an iMac G3 which ran from 98-2003. the 2005 book could be brand new and is the year this story takes place
Darn, and here I thought 2003 because of Order of the Pheonix. Should have looked up the other books too.
Also, the fact that she only has VHS tapes and no dvds further supports this, as I believe they stopped making new VHS tapes around 2005. 😊
She has a CD that says Best of 2000s, maybe she's just retro and living in the past?

Some charachter lore: is in ballet, know from ballet trophy on shelf and ballet shoes under bed. Favourite color is likely purple from all the purple things in her room. Is an artist from to do list saying draw new art. Not an a plus student because she hung up her a plus, meaning she doesn’t get them regularly. Hates father or father is dead or missing because he is crossed out in photo. Likes board games because of the stack behind her bed. Likes digital things because of game console on computer desk, tamagotchi on bedside desk, and computer too. Likes butterfly’s, many pins and drawings of them. Might do a sport or physical activity with running, know by shoes being proper shoes for rocky areas. Due to her favourite color likely being purple, and stack of colored books, we can assume her favourite color changed from black, to green, to pink, to purple, judging by the stack order. Is not not in a low income family, because she did not finish food or preserve it. Does not wear jacket on chair much, due to it not appearing in any photos. Loves her headphones, as they appear in all the photos. Has three friends, as in one photo her and 2 friends are shown, but judging by the tech there wasn’t timed pictures, so somebody must’ve taken the photo. Likes anime due to anime pictures that sometimes show on computer. Likes video games and only one of her friends likes video games due to there being only 2 game controllers. Does not live in city due to buildings layout outside. Hordes papers due to paper sticking out of desk drawer, but this one might not be right. Someone she knew disappeared, likely Gregory, because her school assignment she got an a plus on is about disappearences.

You can also assume that this doesn't take place in present times considering all of the items around the rooms like from the late 1900s, like the Sailor Moon-like figure or the Rubix Cube or the GameCube controller, and lack of modern items like cellphones or consoles like the am Nintendo Switch or Xbox.
i was thinking about the pictures in the board, i think her friend group call themselves peeps(my argument is the letter, and the cd called "from peeps", and i think she's form oxford(the oxford's dictionary on her wall) sorry for my bad english
On the top shelf, I think they're probably VHS tapes or smth, but idk, there's ones that say "Christmas '02", "taylor's recital" and "new year 2000". I can't make out the other two.
The paper next to the game boy says the Butterfly 83 (or 88 I can’t tell) Effect that seems important. There is also a get well soon note on the wall that also seems a little significant.
What I got from the background was; Taylor probably likes anime, based on the drawing on the bulletin board. And the butterfly effect. Butterflies and the butterfly effect is EVERYWHERE!

Theres a playlist on the LoreFi spotify account called "POV: it's 2002 and you're totally not stealing music", i think due to that and the technology depicted in this video its somewhat safe to say this takes place in 2002. Her computer also looks alot like an iMac G3 which was discontinued around 2003 so it fits
But some of the books are from 2003 and 2005 so it might be a little later.
Yeah ripping tracks to Grapevyne (name of the music program and also last thing on the do to list)
Some things I'm noticing:
1. Remnant tickets pined up have different dates.
2. Father is marked out of multiple things around her room.
3. It's 2002 or somewhere after gathering from the look of things and the most recent VHS on the shelf is labeled with 02
4. She placed 3rd in a ballet competition of some kind
- her dad is out of the picutre, crossed out on the to do list and the photo, so she doesnt like him
- odd that the family photo doesnt have gregory in it
- dad is probably biggest suspect for the kidnapping but knowing mat it's likely a red herring and was a supernatural force (getting the vibe from the butterfly effect and the post it note behind the family photo)
- she went to a REMNANT concert on July 13th, probably the year before since it's so rainy out, probably spring a year later rn

I don’t think Gregory is part of the family. I think Taylor is just interested in researching about disappearances, cuz her research paper on the board is about that & the trailer showed the newspaper of Gregory’s disappearance in her bin.

Here's somethings you might have missed!
1. The connect 4 in the back background could be braile but i'm not sure

I don’t think it’s braille because when I tried to decipher it like that I couldn’t get anything
I think it says “unlogged for weeks” and “no chat” probably talking about Gregory not being online or something if it is receding to that it would mean they are probably friends.

Ok, First, I am 7:22 Minutes into the video. Before I watched anything, I went to the description and saw "Keep Looking". These were capitalized letters in the description. Start to watch and see a get well note to Taylor from peeps. I assume that Peeps is the blonde girl in the photos on the corkboard. Also I assume that MAYBE... and knowing Matpat, this is a big maybe, that the other person in the picture is Gregory. Under the get well note, you can see a to do list with (comma separates lines) Get new tracks, Draw new art, Call Dad (Which is scratched out with red) and More Snacks. Also in the picture on the left of her desk, it appears to be a family with Taylor and her dad is scratched out. I don't think the dad is dead, but divorced. I don't think that someone would cross their dad out of a picture when they died. She has some art on the corkboard and a picture next to it of the "Maybe Gregory" holding it, with Taylor in the picture. Also, this is staged between 2000-2003, Taylor has an iMac G3 that was discontinued in March of 2003, which means that this is our max, and she has a some VHS's on her shelf that says "Christmas, Taylor's Recital, 2 that I can't read, and new year 2000, meaning that this was after 2000. She also has a game boy, a Nintendo 64 controller, and a CD player. Also above the family picture is a weird photo of something peeking out of a door. Will update soon.

Still, I have found something a bit interesting: because of The fact that she seems to really like butterflies based on all the decor in her room and her seemingly studying the butterfly effect, it's possible that Taylor wishes she could have changed something in a prior situation that would have led to a better outcome, possibly her father leaving or Gregory's disappearance.

I think the girl Taylor's surname is Daniels, and that the kidnapped kid at the start, Gregory, is Taylor's younger brother, perhaps the kidnapping of Gregory (who like I said, think is her younger brother or loved one nonetheless) is a key turning point in Taylor's story arc?
Edit: I also think the fact that Gregory is giving his address is important as to how Taylor is getting recorded in the trailer. If his address is the same as her address, then that means they're living with each other's so they are indeed brother and sister. Maybe the purple dude in the photos on her corkboard is Gregory.

the Date 7/13 for sure is important, also the story trailer matches the voice at the beginning where the newspaper says boy goes missing which we might be able to match to the voice. The band remnant could be hinting at the nature of this haunting but in what regard we don't know. for all we know the kid is still alive and some sort of remnant of him is reaching out through the lofi music they made. Additionally the drawing on the blue paper behind the family photo has some weird figure looking through a door. also the letter on the board talks about how taylor wasn't previously feeling well. I'm assuming that the letter is from the friends In the pictures we see next to it. besides the stuff said by Mr. Sculptor this is other things I feel are important

Based on the books on her shelf, this has to be 2005 or later. Looking for Alaska was published in March of ‘05 and I’m pretty sure it’s her newest book. The tickets for Remnant also have different dates. The first one is 7/13, but the back one looks to be from June by the 6 you can see
But a tape says Happy New Year 2000!! Ans that's the only one, if you are suggesting that it's not the latest tape and it's year 2005, then that means something must have happened in the New Year of 2000!!
