I get the vibe that pizza is disappointed that he’s not on the mower and Brandon is on the mower and he’s only been there for a few weeks. If I was Pizza I’d be pissed too. He was originally hired to mow and didn’t need training on the mowers. Stuff is going to happen to Equipt, it’s not like he intentionally ran something over in hopes to break it. Yes, his response of shit happens was 100% wrong. He’s been loyal to the company and the longest running employee since channel started. Loyalty and respect is a 2 way street. Nick you might think about getting some inner tube rubber and putting it between the weight bracket and the mower frame. It’ll really save your paint and decals. I think Pizza will come around I think it’s a combination of frustration knowing he messed up wanting to make things better. You could tell he was very comfortable in his job and maybe got a little to apathetic about his work.

I've used alot of mowers have 2 zero turns a kubota zd 28 72 inch pro deck a ex mark lazer z 60 inch and I have been looking at standers for a while eneded up with a bob cat quick cat 52imch then I found wright got a stander x 52 love it other than I dont have the Kawasaki motor but out of all the mowers I've seen you use what do you prefer
So first off I see Pizza isnt with you any longer, but I feel it necessary to comment on this video. I recently started my own business, but worked for my uncle for 22 years. Started when I was 16 and him and I worked side by side for many years just him and I. I've seen many people come and go in the business. Like other people said, I bet pizza was upset because he wasnt on that mower. Now, I had to deal with that attitude from many guys that came on to help my uncle as I was a crew leader. They are the worst and most draining people that you would ever want working for or around your good employees. I dont know if he quit or you let him go, but I know it was the best choice .

I hate mowing all day, gotta switch it up! And what’s up with 4 man crews ? We run 3 two man crews and mow around 100-120 lawns a day between all 3 crews
Just a suggestion, either get some lock nuts with the nylon or put some lock tight on the original nuts to keep them from coming loose or even worse completely off. Seems like being in the front of the mower it's going to be bouncing around quit a lot.

I know this is an old vid and all but just commenting on the comments and based on when I worked for a pool cleaning company in AZ years back. I was new and didn’t know that much but there everyday and did what was asked. Boss rewarded me after two weeks with small raise like .50 an hour. This was back in the 90s and even still not much that appreciation monetarily goes a long way. If someone quits and u bring in another guy at same pay the guy that has been there breaking his ass for solo for however many days you’re asking for resentment and to have employees looking elsewhere. Take care of them and in most cases they’ll take care of you. A reliable employee needs to be recognized not paid the same as someone coming in on day 1. Of course this business is full of turnover but you gotta pay to keep the good ones. I don’t know James or anything other than whet I saw on these vids but what I saw work ethic and attitude I would have taken care of him to keep someone with the positivity he seemed to have. Again no idea why he left just my opinion on some of the vids I’ve seen just today.
I would talk to pizza alone and offer him foreman but let him know the responsibility and see if he wants to do it. That would be the final chance with him. Have Brando drive the truck. Bond helps you.

Every year people from Mexico come to the U.S. to work with work permits, but this year no one was able to come and work. Why? We don’t know but the owner of the company is forced to give up routs because so many people didn’t come(about 20-35 people) and they now in total about 400-550 a week. And I don’t know if it’s the same over there with you guys but that’s what i think Is going on. And I’m happy for your success Nick. Keep nunchuking along and hope this year is your best yet!
I have volunteers and community service workers, but Nick puts up with a lot. Good workers are hard to find. my volunteers work more hard than my community service workers. I tell them all time if I was paying you like Nick I would have fired you along time ago to one of my community service workers. he is 19 so I understand the kid thing and I'm proud of Nick. I will love to see when he has more employees and way more yards.
