My concern is use in matte boxes. Specifically the smallrig mini matte box. The square filters of this system most likely won't but can the round filters still work?
I wanted to ask the same thing if anyone can answer that would be awesome
do you think this system is going to replace the freewell 7-1 vnd system?
I'm not sure it would replace it, but it's definitely an alternative option to look at, especially if you're in the market for an ND filter that will fit all your lenses.
I had the Freewell 7-1 but I really had problems with the magnets being not strong enough. This makes me want to buy the new one.
@@herrnerdmeyer3638 I get your point about the magnets but if you think about it you will still have the same issue. The ND and the base plate use the same magnetic system as the previous system. The only thing that changes is that you can remove the baseplate faster
Any particular reason you skipped the color shift test for 6-9 at 9?
I think time was on my ass, but generally it’s pretty similar, maybe a tiny, tiny magenta shift, but nowhere near something you’d notice. Not a Tiffen magenta shift, it’s very clean.
