Yeah, but unlike her, Leonard actually can get another job more easily as he's the kind of scientist that others would actually want as a part of their team complete with a veritable track record and a list of resources/references and he's more financially sensible.

There's nothing binding about being bf/gf. Marriage is effectively a binding, legal contract.
As for the finances at the time, there's no indication she expected him to "foot the bill." It's been implied she was living off of credit cards before they married.

But later in the series leanord is reading the harry potter series and he spoils him blatantly by saying 'dumbledore dies in the one' acting as if he didnt do anythin wrong nd that he dsnt really understand the cocept of spoilers.
Also, now that i watch it again, i desp ise sheldon nd if I had to deal with him, he'd be gone in less than a day or two.
