@Tomás I have to agree. He's a good action animator, making scenes look stylistically pleasing and exciting, but that's most of the appeal i get from him.

I looked at some sakuga clips from Naotoshi Shida and while I can't deny his experience as an animator, Yutaka Nakamura is a brilliant animator too. Both have unique styles and strengthes so in the end, it all depends on what we - as the viewer - experience as better based on our personal perception of these scenes. No one can deny that the dynamic camera work, the use of slow-motion for intensifiying moments as well as impact frames make some of Yutaka Nakamuras scenes unforgetable. Just because you personally prefer Naotoshi Shida does not mean others are blind - it just means your personal opinion differs. And thats neither good nor bad.

These compilations-- So many people put them out and sure some are fun, but these compilations would be even better if the presenter listed the titles of the series, films, oav, etc. used in the making of these videos. It's not too much to ask and it helps folks find these great anime watch Sword of the Stranger, Kekkai Sensen, FMA and Soul Eater, EVA and the rest of the source material used to make your video. Just go that extra mile for your viewers. BTW -- Wow I forgot how awesome Soul Eater and FMA were, it's been so long since I saw them. This was fun too watch =>

He constantly tries out different things. He doesn't want to be held to only fight scenes.

You don't just lose your skills. He still has great choreography here and there, it's just that he's trying out new things.

For the cowboy bebop cut at 2:40, it took years for people to realize this but that part was actually norimitsu suzuki.
Even the blood splash was his style.
