God I remember the first time seeing BOC. November 1976 Winterland. Rory Gallagher opening and lit up the place. Bob Seger following....night is still young. BOC hits the stage with 'Stairway to the Stars". Someone lights a joint and passes it to my friend. He passes it to me.....big hit....pass it to my brother. By the time he passes....I can taste the familiar flavor plastic chemical PCP angel dust. They have these fog machines in the laser shows creating these three-dimensional boxes and cones and balls that would roll out into the crowd. During cities on flame I still in this day don't know if Albert's hair with a light show behind it making it look like he was on fire or if it was the PCP. I remember him singing Frisco's on flame.... With rock and roll
Albert was the only drummer to ever get the those fills right in Burnin' For You. Which he proves again here. Great show, guys! (And BOC just ain't right without the Bouchard brothers.)
Fantastic. How good is this? Great selection of BOC & Alice Cooper Band classics. I prefer your version of Burnin' For You to any live versions BOC have done recently, as they seem to rush through it and Buck just seems to overplay, but you guys bring it home with soul and passion. The Blue Coupe originals are excellent, great sense of melody and dynamics, wonderful power pop moments along with gothic tinged hard rock. God bless you boys. Keep on rockin'.
Thanks for the comment. We really appreciate it. Fortunately is was a magical concert that was captured on sound and video by our excellent Swedish crew. Hopefully we will be back on tour as soon as we can.
Hey Joe Keep playing solos like that and you will have to cut off the Head stock your Strat and drill some fermented Dairy holes in it ! Joe, Albert ,Dennis, Ryan Much love to you all!
was 11 in Detroit, listening to an FM station outta Toledo when they spun Cities on Flame for the first time upon the track's release. the second i heard Albert Bouchard's ever-haunting voice and wicked beats i was addicted for life. the BOC Collective is my fav source of U.S. roknrol. and the purest pinnacle of that patented sound/vibe/literature of the BOC Collective is now incarnated in Blue Coupe! 🎶⚡😎⚡🎶
I have had a lot of great times partying at BOC concerts in & around Chicago with & without u guys, since I was a teenager, now i'll b fucking 65 next month. I've always enjoyed both ur playing & writing. Some of the Greatest tunes ever written!!! HOPEFULLY WE'LL SEE U GUYS PLAYING IN 2021 IN CHICAGO!
Albert just contributed his cowbell playing on the new BOC album. He was very animated in the video "That was me". The Bouchard brothers get better with age. It would be nice if they have one more rodeo before it is time retire from rock and roll! Maybe they play together for a 50th anniversary gig and show the whole world that they deserved more recognition than they ever got. BOC should be in the rock and roll Hall of fame!
Hello Joe Bouchard, hey, do you think you could do a live accoustic show online, it'd be such a treat! Just a thought!! This concert that you shared with all of us was simply phenomenal!!!💞💞
Hey I like this! Glad I came upon this upload. Great to see Al and Joe again. They sound great! Wish they can put their differences aside and reunite with Eric and Buck for old times sake!
I would Love to see you all live. I live in Texas. It would be so cool if you guys could play Alice Cooper's Christmas pudding. I would make that trip in a second. I'm digging the new CD.
Thanks, Dave. Glad you like it. I have to thank our Swedish video and sound crew. 5 cameras, and full 24 track sound. It took me months to edit it all together but as you can see it was worth it. Be well! Joe
ID RATHER SEE SOMEONE PLAY FROM THE HEART LIKE THIS instead of GUITAR GYMNASTICS IM IMPRESSED ..re-thinks everything i thought i knew about BOC....this is actually deep stuff considering who it is on stage ..joins joefanclub
Fan since first listening to On Your Feet...saw live 1978 Glasgow Apollo. approaching my 60th and still listening to 70/80s rock alongside NWOCR. Seriously missing live gigs...this on tv with headphones on will suffice nicely 👍
Apart from "Don't Fear" didn't really get BOC back in the 70's. Saw you guys in Banbury a few years back and persuaded 2 mates to go the the Blue Coupe gig. Wow f###ing brilliant, Dennis telling the story about baby Godzilla! That song became an ear-worm! Went out bought some BOC stuff and got now all the Blue Coupe stuff. A great great live band! Keep rocking, hope to see you somewhere in the UK soon.
Blue Coupe is as much BOC as BOC today. Difference is, Blue Coupe has more feeling and emotion behind it. Just my opinion & I've been on the Cult train since '76.
Thanks, Ray. We appreciate your comment. We got extremely lucky, the stars aligned, the setting was perfect, and most importantly the Swedish sound, lights and video crew were spot on. I'd like to say we just pull this stuff out of our bag of tricks, but it was a big team effort. Thanks again!
Terrific show ! I love Eric and Buck as well but this show is far better and energetic than the BOC playing and touring these days. BOC miss you, no doubt about it. But where is the cowbell ?
Wow, you can really tell how much the Bouchard brothers contributed to the classic original BOC sound. Amazing 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thanks, Cavalier!

Been enjoying these guys for over 50 years now ! Glad they found each other and keep their old music alive as well as givin` us new songs too !
I miss you 2 in Blue öyster cult. And now i understand why you want to play guitar more then bass guitar. You are excellent on both..
What a great group Håkan from Sweden
This was amazing, but that rendition of Black Juju seriously rocked.

BOC & Alice Cooper=two great bands that go great together!!!!!
I saw Blue Oyster Cult in NY at an outside festival in about 1977, was the first laser light show I'd ever seen.
Lebanon Valley Speedway? I was there and at Bridgeport Jai Alai the show before it.
Great versions of great songs. You guys are real profs. I got feeling that you really enjoy what youre doing. Happy faces.
