I am an Indian. Kabali is an EXCELLENT MALAYSIAN TAMIL MOVIE. Those who know about Malaysian History , Culture, their Problems, will understand and appreciate it. This is the problem with this movie. As just a Tamil Movie, it may not be appreciated. But Malaysian Tamils have their own life style and problems. The story is based on it. According to me , as an employee in Malaysia I Salute this Movie to very great extent. Or a minimum 3-6 months of stay in Malaysia is fair enough to understand and appreciate this movie.Salute to Pa. Ranjith.
I was not Rajini fan before,.After seeing the Kabali Movie, Now I am Rajini fan. Now i understand the inner heart of Rajini. How he accepted this movie that there is primary social issue.He always great. I ashamed what my understanding about Rajini these many years .Great people always great irrespective of anything. History will say Ranjini acted Charecter like kabail who is fighting for low ....level people. Definitely Ranjith will become social reformer in our tamilian society through cinema for ....... He is reflection of many....I like u Ranjith for compromising any thing for Our "GREAT TAMILIAN RANJINI".Keep it up.God always with you.

Wow. I'm surprised at the comments. Enakku padam romba pudichithu! I'll definitely go watch again. Rajni enna acting enna emotions?! Yes it was maybe a bit slow and the main villain could have been a stronger personality, but overall I loved the way the story built along with the flashbacks. Bayanthunde ponen padam kevalama irukkumo nu. But nalla thaan irunthuchu.

Ranjit, to be honest...i am die hard fan of Rajini. i will always love him in any genre..i watched the movie..1st day first show in Singapore, I loved the charismatic looks of Rajini, his charm, they way he had delivered his part, I was just adoring him throughout . but to be frank you haven't done justice to your screen play for Rajini, there's something missing in the movie, you could have done little better. it's bit slow then what's required, few newbies over acted...didnt meet what that was required . the best part of the movie is Rajini nothing but Rajini. You should have listened or considered when super star hinted you, try not to goof up next time. i have watched ur other movies I liked it. You should have tried to give your best, I appreciate you attempt...but Thalivar is worth more then what you see as best. I will watch again for my Superstar Rajini. Rajini sir my salute to you.

From 2001 to 2016 only sivaji is rajni film...If ranjith choose that kind of script then kabali is super hit.....Already in social media fans told that villian is not suitable for rajni in lingaa...same mistake happens in kabali...

Rajni sir more than commercial movie actor , he was a fabulous actor , aarilirundhu arubadhu varai paathuttu aludhavanga llam irukkanga. Even I too cried. Kabali movie ey innum knjm nalla pannirundha romba nalla padam mari airukkum , but adhu oru regular Rajni sir film ah yum Ranjita oda regular padathayum mix panna marinaiduchu. Edhadhu oru side la complete ah pona dhan success agum.

After watching the film, reviews from different critics and this interview again... now i feel RAJINI sir was right in many places... Ranjith himself says Rajini said this is not my cup of tea... may be my fans will be upset... they won't like this stuff and all.. But he insisted on those... now the result is commercially successful but failed to entertain... MASS hero sir avar... use him as ppl likes to be used.... yaarum inga history lesson paaka varla... just for entertainment...

Bakhtawar[Name of Danny] of HUM [movie hindi] may be the improvised Version of Kaabali , no matter how good the movie may be it doesnt need this much hype, as if the world is gonna end if FDFS is not witnessed for this movie. More than 100% i can assume none of the dialogues will be audible on FDFS.
Rajni Sir is such a Great Person in is Carrier. A Director like Ranjith should not even think about making a film like this . he spoiled Rajni Sir's Image. Ranjith Should Take Rest for some time Before his Next Film.............

Rajini ji had done justice to his role, have u done it Ranjith? Not only me entire rajini fans are having the same question.First half was really slow was literally waiting for the break, dont even have anything to mention about second half, Man u have wasted the producers money which the distributors are going to suffer now and Rajinikanth's time.As a creator what have u done can you justify yourself ? Northing you cant!!! Feeling so angry that you all made us wait so long for the movie and spend a premium for ticket and come out disappointed. A pathetic job executed with perfection.
