Is The Marshall Mathers LP Eminem's best album?
Yup
Yes
MMLP or The Eminem Show
Love this album, but Em Show might be the fav
It’s between the MMLP and TES
It doesn't even sound like he's rhyming. His word choice is so natural, that it sounds like it came up in a normal conversation.
It kinda do
It’s a mistake that amateurs make to sacrifice sense and natural word order to make multisyllabic rhymes. Lyricism is more than rhyming, it’s rhyming the right words.
@@Jonpoo1 Correct. I always get confused whenever I hear an MF DOOM song and have to go to Genius to understand what he's saying.
@@blocksksksks By this logic, I'd say DOOM is a better rhymer, but Em is a better lyricist.
@@wheredhego47 Their rhyme schemes are really similar, except Em makes a lot more sense.
MF DOOM is great, but Eminem is better
Marshall Mathers LP was the album to asure that Em was NOT another novelty white rapper, but a force to be reckoned with.
Not another Vanilla Ice
@@deepaparakkal4241 exactly!
ReAl BoLd with his worDs. Yd say.
That's probably why he pretty much went after anyone who came at him. He had to make it known he wasn't just some corny white rapoer who would get stepped on.
Greatest Music Album of All Time
“Fire at the private eye hired to pry in my business” such a clean bar.
Reminds me of
Youll be safe for days if you shave your legs wit renees razor blade
@@HUNGRYFLOWER98 also, "swallowin a klonopin while im noddin in out on the ottoman at the Ramada inn, holdin on the pill bottle then, lick my finger and swirl it round the bottom and make sure I got all of it"
@@bubbachubbaxd relapse is such a clever album lol
☝🏿🖤😔💯
to be honest I dont understand the bar
any chance of someone explaining it for me?
No one gives me the feeling Eminem does. Unbridled sonic aggression, beautiful.
Sonic aggression, couldn’t have said it better
this!
There's no denying Em's greatness. When My Name Is first came out, people initially brushed him off as gimmicky. "Oh look, a white guy with blonde hair named Eminem who hangs out with Dr. Dre and raps about drugs and the Spice Girls."
But once you listened to The Slim Shady LP and really dissected the lyrics and rhyme schemes, you began to see that he was a legit MC that people should be taking seriously.
in some old interview, Em explained that despite joking around, trying to be funny on The Slim Shady LP, he still carefully crafted his word play & punchlines. once we all heard of who he is, he came out with The Marshall Mathers LP to show us what he's capable of (lyrically)
if he didn't rap about killing bitches and vicotin he wouldn't be where he's at. No matter his skill.
Lyrical miracle and all that shit, but it's the mood and entertainment he's providing that actually makes these albums great.
Agreed. People often complain about him without diving beneath the surface to see what's happening under the hood. But fail to consider that the rapping sounds so approachable despite how complex it is. It's like constant ear candy and satisfaction listening to Em's rhymes. I think he's gotten batter with the latter statement, but the complexity now tends to come in the way of approachability here and there.
The most underated song on the album
Wrong! It is who knew
drug ballad is the most underrated one

Lmao me to
Had this album on repeat for months. This was when I knew he wasn’t a passing fad. One of the top to ever it do it
Imagine If this song came out at this times, especially first verse
I think the third verse on criminal might be objectively his best verse of all time
Which is this one
How
noo there so many better than this Regenade>>>this groundhog day>this
Nah I think it's either his verse on Fight Music, Best Friend, Soldier 3rd verse or his last verse on Renegade
not alike, groundhog day were legendary.
You've definitely gotta do a video on his verse from Business.
This song is nostalgic to me, i listen to the repeat multiple times
NIce one, one of mz favorites of this era of em^^
Been Patiently waiting for this one
Eminem on Under the Influence, Role Model or Amityville. Goes hard on those songs.
This Em is a GOAT, way better than the songs he makes now, I mean look at this verse
Eminem is a goat in general. His new shit is the most lyrical by miles
MMLP Em is different breed.
Some of his greatest work
I LOVE this song
Amazing
great video keep going bro this is impressive
Easily one of the best songs ever.
I just love Eminem 😎
This is exactly what i was looking for
The Goat all the way from the beginning to this current day.
One of his best verses
Romantic af ❤
My favorite em verse
Best intro!🔥
one of my favourite verses he's ever spat
Pure fire
It sooooo perfect . Savant level.
"Classic".....☝🏿🖤😔💯
Thank God keep doing eminem he's an animal
Was hoping it would be the last verse. Fucking sick ending to such an ill album.
I miss this eminem
Probably his best and most important song
Em 🔥🔥🌹🐐
WHEN THE MUSIC STOPS EMINEM VERSE PLEASEEEE 🔥🔥
best Eminem song ever
Best verse ever
GOAT
The scenes if this song got released today tho, nowadays people are cancelling DaBaby for saying shit that ain’t half as bad as this
But didn’t daBaby just say stuff, not joking or making an artistic piece? Because there is a difference.
No, there is a BIG difference. Dababy didn't say it in a song, he said it whilst talking, like in a conversation. Not whilst rapping, not joking or making a piece of art. When he said it, he meant it.
@@deepaparakkal4241 wouldn't say he meant it but more so just trying to say something cool to get them to put the lights up.
Dababy wasnt playing a crazy character or doing it for some sort of art. He was just being himself
@@mariannoshenoy4592 Exactly
Yesss
This isn't the first verse, it's the third. But still a fantastic video!
My mistake

Please do Brain Damage from Slim Shady LP!
*bang* THANK U
💯💯🔥🔥
What we gonna do when we are out of all em songs :(
Cant wait for Horseshoe gang!
My favourite verse off that album. Sound clip that precedes is it brilliant too, amazingly twisted dark humour
You shoulda done the first part :)
Yo do his second verse on amityville man
I used to think Hip Hop was about rhyming when I was a kid and that Eminem was Jesus if not God. Got older and realized that Hip Hop is music just like any other. Only difference is that it's delivered as Spoken Word, and the rhymes help with that, but it's not about the rhymes, It's Music.
That being said Eminem took it to a whole different level, he basically became he's own genre
Please do the whoolleeee song or the wholleee album the would be great
The 3rd verse is my favorite
SSLP - Relapse
The best of eminem
MMLP the album to show on Em will never give a fuck about what anyone has to say. A mastapiece to the highest degree
FLOW JOE!
" 💥🔫 thank you" ..lol
can you do a rhyme scheme for still dre?
"this puppy is lucky i didnt blast his ass yet" is probably the best line Eminem has ever wrote.
Such an evil idea as a song and yet it works perfectly.
Old eminem is EASILY the greatest rapper of all time. I miss the diss songs and crazy lyrics that were smooth
if you were to do that with todays rappers you would lave like one rhyme half way through the song that was not even intentional
unless you count "gucci gang" and "gucci gang" to be rhymes
Do the whole song bro
finally we realize how good this verse is
Donda Donda Donda Donda Donda Donda Donda Donda Donda Donda Donda Donda Donda
Private eye ... P.I !!!!!!
This off the LP right? Someone inform me, I’m not a big Eminem fan.

Should do his verse from 'Remember me?' also from MLP1

Doen’t “in” rhyme with bet”ween”?
do nicki minaj - barbie dreams
Isn’t there more to this song?
Well yes the song isn’t 50 seconds long
Yes the maker of the video did only one verse
Bruh my teachers fav rapper is eminem because "rappers these days are too profane" like bitch have you not listened to a single em song???
The first bit's a bit repetitive *innit*?
yeah kinda but the syllable before "in it" is also being rhymed ("drive", "dive", "-guised", "guy")
