Bigfoot vs Drone: Did Sasquatch Throw Something at my Drone?

For those of you wondering, this happened in Farmington Canyon in Northern Utah. I was flying my drone around to get stock footage of the forest and creek. When I was almost done, I noticed something fly by my drone very fast. It seemed odd, but I didn't think too much of it until I got home and was reviewing the footage. I saw this odd flat object fly very fast toward my drone. It was going upward at a high rate of speed and the object was slowly spinning! Not sure what it was. Any ideas? I still haven't a clue.
Yes, I know it's not really a boomerang ;-) - Розваги

Damn those Bigfoots are getting advansed. Using shotguns now.

Lmao 100%. No one knows what it is. So for any one to try and say they know is just funny.
Bows dont move like that and arrows are straight. This object is bent
@Dr. Lee arrows are extremely straight, yes. But in flight, they actually bend and wobble a lot.
Turkey hunters sometimes use those weird arrow heads that decapitate them. It started to swerve after some distance.
Guillotine arrow heads are maybe 3 inches wide at most.
No arrow is going that far. 100 yards is a long shot.
My guess is a bird.
I swear people just say anything. The hunter shot the arrow at a flying turkey? The arrow ricocheted off a rock instead of exploding? Use. Brain.

That's a pissed off bow hunter taking a shot at your noisy drone

Haha, funny. I hate drones and would do that happily if were being used too much and ruining the experience for everyone else around. But it wasn't shot from anything like that because it turns lengthwise instead of spiraling
@@heatherstach9035 looks just like an arrow
So he takes aim at it through all those trees, it hits one of them, therefore turning it, and it happens to turn it almost just right to come after his drone? Was he playing some kind of fantastic game of arrow pool, using the tree branch for a bank shot?
If he was aiming for the drone, shouldn't hitting the tree branch have taken him off course, not bring him almost directly on course?

To those saying that a human could not throw something that fast and far, you should keep in mind that a person MIGHT be able to throw a spear like that with an Atlatl. Atlatls have been used to throw spears for thousands of years. Its moving so incredibly fast though its hard to say

It is possible that it is an arrow that struck a tree branch in flight.
To me it looks as if it is a white arrow with black cresting.
I think someone was bow hunting and was pissed your drone was scaring the animals in the area and tried to shoot at your drone to take it out
No
Arrows don't flip around in midair as they fly
@@yangpiao849 I'm not so sure it flipped around it looked more like it hit something on its path and that made it change its trajectory it still went past in a direct line so to speak. I live in Australia and I have watched boomarangs move through the air and they look completely different, If anything they look like a disk due to the speed they are going. And that did not look nothing like a disk shaped object.
The arrow clipped the bushes destabilizing the flight trajectory. It’s definitely an arrow.
yep. it's a traditional wooden arrow, that tipped a branch on the way through. someone was pissed.
It’s a small piece of crud floating in the air that you flew past. It looks like it’s moving fast, but it’s just a perspective trick. I see things like that with my drone.

I agree that crossbow bolt looks most likely. It has been knocked off course and set to tumble by hitting a tree on the way up.
Too thick to be a bolt.
It wouldnt be traveling that fast and high at that angle
That is the most likely situation. If you are of any good measure of intelligence you know that is what indeed it is. Good call. Especially because the slow oscillating movement between the impact and wind sheer/velocity.
@@calebh7902 It most certainly would. A high-power compound bow at a height of about 200ft. . It would do this easily.

Definitely pissed off bow hunter almost made a hell of a shot
Totally right! it's hard to tell without the idea but ince you think its an arrow you see it is an arrow thats wobbling through fligt, rather then some rotating biomerang
It definitely does look like an arrow, but, when you think he would've had to know where the drone was without seeing it. Seems like an unlikely shot. Idk. The guy would be down in the canyon taking a shot on a drone hundreds of feet away and just coming over the hill into range. It just doesn't seem to make sense, but maybe the Hunter did see it coming from his position. It's hard to tell.
Right! Considering these drones are pretty small, guy is not shooting a Mathews his bow isn't paper tuned
Hitting branches on way up would cause arrow to wobble around, arrow already flex and bend a lot more than they look naturally
@@cryptodivioo3569 what makes more sense? A hunter shooting an arrow or an unknown highly intelligent creature that has somehow managed to avoid capture for millennia throwing a rock with damn near perfect accuracy? Bow hunters could never be accurate in their shots right? I want this thing to be real too but not at the expense of logic and rational thought.
It was an arrows from an upset hunter. It hit a twig causing it to go off trajectory. But in flight Arrows do flop. We use white arrows at times for easier spotting and better image of the blood to tell what vitals we hit.

Yeah. If it curved in mid-flight, it CAN'T be a bird or bug. Only objects being thrown can do that. Science!

Well, break it down. The turn is very evident, standard soaring behavior for raptors, looked like a quick turn in a drifting thermal for some kind of raptor, maybe an osprey. What local raptors are white and black? Not sure if you are in Utah for this clip. It would’ve been so worth it to watch that drone get obliterated by that arrow. Dude probably blew that whole hunt for that guy.

Probably a spider web floating and the perspective throws us off
I concur with the other experts. It looks like an arrow that just about went out of range and started dipping before it could clip your drone.
There are exactly zero experts here.
You all know nothing about arrow/bullet/football/anything-that-needs-a-good-trajectory science. Those other experts know naught as well. Spirals are the only way to go about sending something through space efficiently. The object in question turns along its lengthwise axis, instead of its thinnist axis(spiral/helix). If it was shot from a bow, it would be spiraling. This means that it was likely thrown from one end. Could very well be from a strong man or Bigfoot perhaps
@@disht2 expert has arrived.
@@ya-silly-goose623 but don't arrows spin and wobble for a certain distance before they lose thier momentum and begin to spin?
Now that I'm looking more closely, the object looks like it could be an arrow. It certainly would account for the velocity. If someone's hunt was ruined by it, they may take a pot shot at it.
