I had fallen out of listening to their music, but about a year ago I was struck how much the lyrics resonated with me after my phone shuffled through The Con again. I'm almost 21 now. It's crazy, this album means a lot to me

I saw Tegan and Sara for the first time in 2008 in Cincinnati and they instantly became my favorite musicians.. I went out and got a tattoo from The Con’s album artwork. They’re still my favorite artists and I’ve seen them 6 times and met them once... though I’m a fan of all they do, nothing can compare to The Con for me.

It was obvious how appreciative they were of the tattoo and that I had bought their ON IN AT book set (one of the two items I had them autograph). They were so kind. Quin is actually my last name, yes.

Tegan was not only more talkative, but seemed to be the one taking care of everything. One of the shows I went to, there were hundreds of fans that came to them afterwards, all seeking autographs and pictures. They spent time with each and every person in line, chatting freely and giving so much of themselves. I didn't have a smart phone at the time and I wish that I had a camera. Anyway, I was the last person on line and they chatted with me for about 10 minutes. Nicest people I've ever met, and that's saying something, because I've met some truly extraordinary people. That's so interesting that you share a last name with them. Enjoy your day!

when I feel super emotional their music just hits at a different level. When i'm going okay I really don't get as much out of their music. When i'm sad or just super emotional about something in my life it sounds so much different.
