Sack race ! Hey Kristen
I remember our last Easter egg hunt. I was 11 and my brother was 9. It was at Ports O'Call in Los Angeles. They were expecting 60-80 kids and several hundred showed up. Talk about an unruly mob. Ports O'Call announced that this would be the last one. We moved back to New Mexico and my mom decided we were no longer kids, hence, no more Santa, no more Easter eggs and no more visit by the three kings on Epiphany (presents).
HOLY 😞.. talk about ‘growing up quickly’ I mean, sometimes parents have money issues? I talk to Jedi to make sure we put enough aside for them to always have birthdays & Christmas.. Gosh, my kids look forward to seeing family & getting gifts.. It’s never on the kids to just GROW-UP.. unless the parents are going through financial hardship (then I understand) Pope, honestly that’s why I still put up my little family videos.. so that my kids can look back. Also so some of us can live a bit through the eyes of a kid for a moment & feel a little joy. 🙂
Looks like fun. I remember wjen I did my first sack race. I was a little chunky monkey and failed the sack race as I wasn't good at fighting gravity 🤷♂️🤣🤣
