- Sixty House of Representatives members elected on the PDP platform demanded the resignation of the party’s acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum.
The development was a fresh twist in the political war between the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Nyesom Wike.
The 60 lawmakers based their call for Damagum’s resignation on his alleged silence amid the political crisis between Wike and Gov. Fubara.

The word is value. Who has more value than Wike in PDP?. You can't throw away your MVP. Atiku is a liability and a serial failure. Gov. Sim is a new member and has cost PDP the loss of 27 members to APC with his immature fight with his god-father. Is Gov. Sim the only Governor that emerged through a god-father?. What of Akwa Ibom Governor?.
BKO, the PDP members trust Wike as a more reliable party man than Atiku and Gov. Sim put together.
Wike is now bigger than the party. He is both in Apc and PDP. Whatever that has hapend to PDP, they brought it up against themselves by failing to zone their ticket to the South, Giving Atiku and his allies the opportunity to grab the ticket. Wike has decided to pull down the roof of the house and he has succeeded in doing it. He has many machinery working for him all over the country. And havibg done the dirty work for Tinubu in 2023 in Rivers state, he has gotten his reward as a minister and remainied politically relevant. But he is lucky that Tinubu is a politician that reciprocate "good gestures" if not ...
But he should trade wirh caution, he is judt a political appointee. If Tinubu discsrd him today, he has no where to run to. Those his allies in the current PDP will turn their back on him and he will also be irrelevant in Rivers.
Please, wike is not the problem of the party. Wike has proudly play a key role in retaining the party to 2023.

BKO, as an insider, Tinubu as southern President now did he signed a co-sharing formula with Wike to be 2nd President having helped him to rig the election Tinubu’s favor at the 2023 presidential election.
If Tinubu allows Wike to destabilize the Oil rich-State of Rivers as his 2027 strategy, the consequences might not good at the end.
