Essa pode ser uma versão, na minha "visão" ficou com muito mais emoção o jeito de cantar e a parte instrumental. Nem sempre o original é o melhor, como muitos artistas criam versões da própria música e fazem milagres com novas roupagens.

American country singer/songwriter Boudleaux Bryant wrote it way back in 1960. It was a big hit for the Everly Brothers that same year, but as far as I'm concerned, Nazareth totally OWNED IT in 1976! Nobody could ever top the Nazareth version, because there'd be no point even trying; it's just impossible to beat their combination of deeply felt vocals and painfully expressive guitar. This has aged very well indeed, as have most Nazareth numbers.😉

My band and I used to get so annoyed by bar patrons asking us to "play a country song" that we deliberately set out to learn the one country song that was guaranteed to offend their sensibilities..."The Rodeo Song." Not only fabulous musicians but amazing bunch of guys. While living in Albuquerque NM in the early 80's, after midnight, I was passing Graham Central Station, saw the marquee, where I had been unaware they were playing, and turned around and went in. But I had missed the set! I went over to the dressing room and asked to say hello and was unceremoniously told to get lost (by the bouncers). I said, just tell them a guy from Dunfermline said 'hello'. Thought may as well have a beer before I go and then one of same bouncers approached me at bar and said 'Thank God you're still here! I was sent find you and not dare return without you!' So I went back and met the boys (never had met them before!) and was welcomed like a long lost friend. There were a bunch of others there before I went in & they immediately got ignored and all attention was on me. Honestly, they were absolutely fabulous to me - said hey, we got have to get out of here - come back to Hotel with us & help us unwind. How could I refuse? So I met them in the Hotel - no Glitzy groupy drunken celeb party, just the boys and me sitting in an otherwise empty restaurant/bar (closed) and one of them had brought a bottleof whisky. We just chatted and had a few halves till about 6 in the morning, just talking about our respective roots in Dunfermline - and discovered we had some common acquaintenances. I reluctantly left as had to go to work in a couple of hours, but believe we could have talked forever, like we'd known each other forever. RIP Dan, Darrell & Manny and hope you continue on for a long time more, Pete.

Já vi que não sabe de nada sobre essa banda foda, sim essa e algumas outras músicas são covers, mas, eles tem outros sucessos que são autoria dos integrantes da banda, assim como o guns n' roses, entre outras, antes de opiniar alguma coisa procure pesquisar mais, tmj.✌
Essa pode ser uma versão, na minha "visão" ficou com muito mais emoção o jeito de cantar e a parte instrumental. Nem sempre o original é o melhor, como muitos artistas criam versões da própria música e fazem milagres com novas roupagens.

I don't care who wrote it this is the song I remember. Absolutely amazing vocals and guitar playing. Love this so much.
American country singer/songwriter Boudleaux Bryant wrote it way back in 1960. It was a big hit for the Everly Brothers that same year, but as far as I'm concerned, Nazareth totally OWNED IT in 1976! Nobody could ever top the Nazareth version, because there'd be no point even trying; it's just impossible to beat their combination of deeply felt vocals and painfully expressive guitar. This has aged very well indeed, as have most Nazareth numbers.😉

Just 'cause I wear a hat doesn't mean I'm into country. Southern fried rock, classic rock, blues-rock I could play all day and night, and still be up for more, but country just doesn't work for me. My band and I used to get so annoyed by bar patrons asking us to "play a country song" that we deliberately set out to learn the one country song that was guaranteed to offend their sensibilities..."The Rodeo Song." They'd be all "yee-haw" and "yippee" until we got to all the cursing in the chorus, then they'd start getting upset.🤣
That was invariably followed by, "Don't you boys know any nice songs," by which point we'd be laughing our butts off.🤣

Until today I never knew the Everly Brothers did this originally. But NO ONE and I repeat NO ONE has ever done it better that Naz. This is simply brilliant, emotive and powerful.
I was born in 71 and introduce to this music from my uncle that is 10 years older then me never stop listening to them from Eastern Canada
2022. Great music is timeless. Every note sung was perfection and the guitar solo was just right. Watching the singer interpret the lyrics through video adds another dimension. Amazing song!
I lost my husband 44 years of marriage he was on life support the doctor called and said to take him off I couldn't do it I made my daughter then five months after that my son had an accidental overdose which the corners office called and said some meth Plus Valiums he used to take them all at once four times a day was supposed to be every 3 hours but he took them all at once I told him to separate the Valiums apart from each other Plus taking the math they told me it was a high and a low that stopped his heart somebody walking by the motorhome smell the most terrible o d d e r coming from it I'm sorry now that I gave him the motorhome that my husband and I had he used to argue with my husband and I always forgave him so did Mike my husband but I showed him a picture of Mike and David said why did they give him so much medicine I started to think David knew my son had ass me such a question

E era, no Brasil, época do governo Militar. Hoje em dia, não posso andar nas ruas, ônibus ou Topic ou ficar em casa sem fones de ouvido ligados a tocar mpb, clássicas ou essas em diversos idiomas e nacionalidades que tenham beleza.
Agradeço por ter nascido em 1970.
51 anos bem vividos, o baile de músicas românticas, a dança de rosto colado e no meio da balada romântica, troca de olhares e um beijo dando início a uma história de amor. Amor essas músicas escuto sempre em meu repertório particular. Músicas que realmente podemos ouvir e sentir a melodia, a letra, que faz aflorar sentimentos de outrora.

Not only fabulous musicians but amazing bunch of guys. While living in Albuquerque NM in the early 80's, after midnight, I was passing Graham Central Station, saw the marquee, where I had been unaware they were playing, and turned around and went in. But I had missed the set! I went over to the dressing room and asked to say hello and was unceremoniously told to get lost (by the bouncers). I said, just tell them a guy from Dunfermline said 'hello'. Thought may as well have a beer before I go and then one of same bouncers approached me at bar and said 'Thank God you're still here! I was sent find you and not dare return without you!' So I went back and met the boys (never had met them before!) and was welcomed like a long lost friend. There were a bunch of others there before I went in & they immediately got ignored and all attention was on me. Honestly, they were absolutely fabulous to me - said hey, we got have to get out of here - come back to Hotel with us & help us unwind. How could I refuse? So I met them in the Hotel - no Glitzy groupy drunken celeb party, just the boys and me sitting in an otherwise empty restaurant/bar (closed) and one of them had brought a bottleof whisky. We just chatted and had a few halves till about 6 in the morning, just talking about our respective roots in Dunfermline - and discovered we had some common acquaintenances. I reluctantly left as had to go to work in a couple of hours, but believe we could have talked forever, like we'd known each other forever. RIP Dan, Darrell & Manny and hope you continue on for a long time more, Pete.
