Still the best ever. Such a delight to watch them, over and over again
This is one of the best performances that I've ever seen, terrific choreography.

This was one of the most memorable dances!! I remember the train move!! Had never seen anything like it!
I never tire of watching them. They love what they do and it comes through the screen as well of cause as their dedication and perfection. Love it.

And also extremely technically difficult, requiring split second timing and flawless control. T and D's routines were so artistically brilliant that few people realise how HARD they all were!

Brilliant...... hard to beat this routine 💕
They were so completely in sync. Two people of very different heights, yet their feet and the angle of their legs was so perfect. I saw them at a local exhibition in the mid to late 70s. They were probably British champions at the time

Controversial opinion… I think this is the best of the three classic T and D routines.. above Barnum and Bolero.. it’s an absolute game changer in ice dancing
No controversy from me . . . I also think it's better than Barnum or Bolero too. Do people realise just how HARD those 'train slides' are? They require absolute split second timing and 100% perfect synchronisation, otherwise you end up a tangled heap on the ice at best or with a blade through your Achilles tendon at worst. Yet they make it look easy, which is the definition of genius.

The moves are harder these days but no skaters get near to the kind of impact this routine had in 1982. We need someone to come out and do something completely different to everyone else.
The great thing about J&C is they make very technically difficult moves (read nearly impossible) look deceptively easy. Their speed across the ice, their synchronicity in matching their lines, their close proximity to each other are all extremely hard to carry off at the speed of this programme with no breathing space
Noone has the courage to do something different. ISU needs to do something people don’t watch skating anymore.
@@risag1274 I'm tired of watching all the "hip/current/modern" programs. Something different would actually going back to something very dance-like...like this (or many other options!)
This is still a very difficult programme even by today's standards. The speed, precision, control and split second timing required still holds up today
