Why is Bonney good against them? And what should be the strategy against Doffy/Luffy? Go for the „Fortress“ and play it slow until the end, or play aggressively with 9 cost Zoro and Shanks?
Fortress for doffy is effective, but it's still about 50/50, which isn't bad when you compare it to other decks. looking at the last ranked ladder win percents Bonney into BY Luffy has a 65.3% wr going first and a 73.7 wr going second. Obviously that's for 8.5 but the matchups don't change too much into 09 you're really running the same cards.
Why is Doffy the BDIF for you? It literally lost top 4 in every major Japanese championship- Imho, black is still the best and most easy/consistent color to pull off. I would also bump Nami 1 up!
@ace_sweethell292 blacks one downfall is consistency imo. Doffy is very consistent and takes a majority of every top pie. My bdif predictions are based off when evens come out what is taking the pie by a good margin. Doesn't have to win every event to be bdif. But if the conversion to top rate is far beyond others I think that counts
I think RP luffy is strong as well for the reasons you noted as well, however unlike shanks you are missing 2 life as a resource which i think against other 5 life leaders being 2+ cards down is rough.
Can i ask you one thing why you put by luffy in deck to beat this nearly auto loses to Blackbeard and blackbeard can win against doffy we saw it in japan 4 out of 5 finals where a teach in and 2 out of 5 teach won of the major tournaments by and doffy only won one and by only topped one or 2 events teach topped 4 so math is on teach side
Doffy has won infinity more events than BB BY also isn't as bad as one might think into BB If a deck has 1 poor match up it doesn't mean it still isn't BDIF Asia likes to switch to the "best deck" I know many goats still playing BY in op09 Think it'll still hold it's share of the pie
