The raw emotions that this album brings, along with the lyrical content make for one of “heaviest” albums I’ve ever heard. Definitely top 3 albums of the year so far for me.
What other albums come close in your opinion? I agree with this being up there with the absolute most visceral and sonically pummeling bands I’ve ever heard. Im obsessed with
I’m willing to admit that the interlude to this album actually made me tear up and cry a bit. I like to consider it a song in itself just cause of how much emotion it brings out me, and even though this album is filled with nothing but heavy..the heaviest thing to me is that interlude
When I was listening to the album the first time and "Porcelain" came on, I no joke had to check it was the same album playing. And then I had that song on repeat for like 6 plays.
Sorry guys that you got bugged by so many people regarding this album, but I think looking back you have to kinda agree it was justified 😅 Glad you enjoyed it🙂
Been waiting on you guys to listen to this album and I’m so fucking happy to see what you guys think about it. Hands down my favorite album of this year and just in general. Such a amazing and raw emotion album. Literally everything I could ask for and so much more. Thankyou guys for checking this out. So much love and always got a fan in me. 🤘
So glad you guys did this whole album. It's a masterpiece and definitely AOTY winner here. Also on the title track Porcelain the dude that screams like he's being murdered tore his vocal chords recording it.
Funny thing about Paleface but with hard drugs: One of the members was asked "Any crazy stories on the making of the album?" and he said "On a track that I will say its track 3, Life (which is the guy that sounds he is being murdered screaming) got ripped on vodka and shrooms, masturbated and abused himself while tracking" Also, Life was also in the hospital from another story that said "Pray for Life" so yeah they went through hell before and in between the album. This album made me brake a house in half and then BROKE ME in half.
Legit the best album I've ever heard. The sheer rawness of the emotion displayed audio-wise and lyrically, and the perfect blend of aggression and heaviness gives a much harder hitting album than if you went all the way heavy (pure deathcore) or all the way aggression (thrash/crust punk). Unironically should be the standard for heavy music going forward.
I've been waiting for you all to react for a bit now! So glad to see you guys do this. If you want to see their first live show I got their whole set list uploaded to my channel!
@@wuxiang91 yeah he posted something that during the recording of the album he tore his vocal cord and he had some time for it to heal but during the show he pushed himself too hard and tore the lining of his esophagus and now is on hiatus because of that
Orphan improved on Strangled in every way. More emotional, more versatile, even more aggressive.
Everything but instrumentals.

One of the most heaviest albums. Emotionally and musically
I know everyone’s gonna ride Lorna Shore this year but this is album of the year. This is 2022 in a nutshell.

"You gotta let it go.. YOU HAVE TO LET IT GO!" "I CAN'T! I can't..." that's what gets me with interlude each time.
I can't fully get through the song porcelain without crying
Yeah 2 of my cousins died this year and yeah. Every time I listen to that song I ugly cry but in a good way it’s weird Man.

What Justin said in the Act One/Dying Light reaction is still valid: "It crushes you, then it *crushes* you."
You know…I hold A Tear In The Fabric Of Life in a dear and special place in my heart, but I think this album has entered that place as well!
This been on repeat since the album dropped never heard an album so fucking angry and full of emotion my album of the year no contest

I saw where he tore his vocal chords, but I didn’t know how
@@bryanhamrick304 where did it happen, i didn't catch it. i only know it was in the title track, but i don't know where exactly it was
@@disappointment5835 The vocalist posted something on his story a few months ago about tearing his vocal chords
Remember guys you are never alone! And to SDM thanks for reviewing this masterpiece!

What happened to the Orphan interview? :(
We were asked to take it down. Wasn’t our choice. Sorry mate :/
@@SergioCampos98 I figured that was the case. Unfortunate :\
Orphan is SO good
Hell yeah
Check out Belvebuth "Sloth" absolutely heavy and disgusting song!
