Hi Allison!! You might have already had someone else tell you this, but I am completely with you there in not wanting to waste something so beautiful as that plate. Something you can do with it, though, is actually dismantle it a little bit more (sadly enough) and use it as added filtration for any potted plants that you might have at home. For the daisy plate you could some how make it a half moon shape and put a string on the back of it and you could hang it! And for the sun i think i have a cool diy: so maybe you could try pottery(its actually really fun) and make a handle and you could some how make the plate like a knife shape and you could hot glue the handle to the “knife part“ and it would make a really cool design, and a homeade cute little knife

Also a good tip: your supposed to let the veggies soak in the fruit & veggies soak for about five minutes after letting it get lots of suds in the water. You’ll see the things come off. It’s crazy what’s on veggies. Even organic.
