Getting rid of the stingrays was a good move too. I might have to follow your lead on the new decals and the removal of the stingrays! Car looks 100% better

I removed the front emblem. Used, 40 lb. 'braided' fishing line, it works very well. it's stronger and has a rough texture and saws through the glue. It doesn't break so easy.

You can also use a heat gun/hair dryer to soften up the adhesive, which will make it come off easier... I put the Stingray and corvette emblems back on, it's just a personal choice.. Nice video!

Just bought my first c7. This page is so useful. My car is wrapped. Can I still use this technique? Also what was that string you used?

Congrats on the new ride! I would think you still could use that technique but maybe ask around some shops that do wraps and ask them just to be sure. I was using some fishing wire. Good luck!
