You are 100% correct. The pistons are both at TDC, but they are on opposite strokes, so you turn 360deg to get the other cylinder onto the firing stroke. I do have a scatter brain at times! Well spotted.
So - what are you aSHOWING in this video ? - the most annoying and complicated part of the service is NOT the mechanical stuff, but the STRIPPING ! - there are many hidden clipses, latches, lockings .... which have to be very gantly and knowingly unlocked - not to crack the ( almost always ) brittle plastics...... To deal with, already, stripped down bike / scooter is the easy part ☝☝🤨
Thanks for your opinion, yes panels can be annoying at times. Each bike is different in their sequence of removing and re-fitting the plastics. This is where product knowledge and experience comes into effect. If you'd prefer us showing the removal of the plastics, let us know.
