Just want to comment for those who are skeptical on how easy this is. It's actually a super simple tutorial to follow. Only thing I would mention is when you're threading the sides make sure you leave a lot of length with the string, otherwise it might get lost inside the tube and you'll have to pull it all out and do it over again. Other than that its a great dress! 10/10 would recommend.
Just like when making smocked dress you add 10 inches to your measurements for stretch, you minus 10cm or 12 from an already stretchy fabric for a good fit.
Azhia Lassiter subtracting 19cm helps to make the dress thight ( that‘s also why you use fabric with elasticity). If you use your normal messurments the dress will still fit, but it will probaply not hug your body.

This is so cute! Also does anyone know what the purpose of subtracting 10 centimeters from each measurement?
Because she’s using stretch fabric. Subtracting the 10 cm with ensure the dress will hug your curves

@@favourakinnagbe1444 what if you use a non-stretchy material? Do the minus 10 cm count or is exact measurements better?
Oh sorry I'm just seeing this.
Exact measurement is better plus seam allowance since it doesn't stretch. You'll want to be able to wear it.
Thank you so much this really helped me I’m from Florida 😊
Which fabric use for this
Na tebi sve stoji tako da u tvom slučaju ne vrijedi ona: odjelo čini čovjeka. Tijana ljepotice.😽
Also, can anyone tell me the exact name of the fabric? I’ve been trying to find it but I can’t

Tijana Arsenijevic lol I mean what was the purpose of subtracting 10? I’m new to sewing, so I’m confused on that part of the tutorial
