A520 undervolting 5700x3d

- Well... I don't recommend undervolting on an A520 Motherboard.
I returned to auto for the best performance and stability.
I noticed on a couple of boots later an RPC error and an address volitation error with AIsuite3. So I returned to default and the error went away.
Not recommended! Just live with the excess heat! or get a better cooler. - Ігри
This is so cool, planning to buy the 5700x3d. Can I pair this with my a520 with bios version F15?
Not sure what motherboard you have but Update to the latest to get best stability usually! Mine was the PRIME A520M-K
I did the CO -30 and got an average of 1,080v on the Core Voltage, I believe it would be better than doing it manually like you did.
The A520 motherboard I have doesn't have curve optimizer settings in the bios. Its a cheap motherboard that doesn't support PBO in it either. I solved my heat problems by adding another fan to the case and I don't have to worry about temps.

I would like to know if i can use 5700x3d stable with a pair of MSI a520m a pro and AK400 cooler.
You'll have to update the BIOS for starters. Its a bare minimum motherboard (A520) with a bare minimum cooler AK400.
Do you already own the AK400? If you do you could expect 80+ Celsius. Remember it throttles at 90 Celsius. The VRM's are like mine and will get toasty 75+ Celsius. But I have not noticed VRM throttling at that temperature. The video had a 12'ish minute Cinebench Test.
My CPU hits 79/80 C with a bare minimum cooler. This is not factoring in a GPU dumping hot air into the case. I don't have an exhaust fan at the moment either and that can change temps.
You might be better buying the AK500 if you don't own the AK400 yet. But if you already own the AK400 its probably a bare minimum cooler for this CPU and you can try it...But i feel more comfortable suggesting the AK500 and maybe a better motherboard with HEATSINKS on the VRM if you are currently buying all brand new parts.

hi, what a520 model do you have? i don have any offset voltage option in mine (a520m ds3h v2)
I have the Prime A520M-K. But with a new video I added an exhaust fan and that allowed for reasonable temperatures at full voltage.
I noticed more stability at full voltage than under-volting as well. So I don't recommend it. I just did it to see what happens. You want the full power of the 5700x3d also!
