@Datto S Ever since BBS, all your aerial attacks will zip and directly home in on enemies. Not exactly a change in my favor because it made the combat a little more mindless than before. KH2 you had to be more deliberate about your positioning and actions as gravity was put more into play and most of your attacks had a defined distance. Additionally, Sora had more ground modifiers than he did aerial ones, so staying on the ground was more effective. This is definitely more in line with base Sora, Drive forms did also tend to have the tendency to home in on aerial foes, but not when they're of a significantly higher altitude above Sora's head. The point I do want to make is that there was more deliberate choice in KH2's combat system which was more engaging to me than BBS onward.

I think if they remastered Union X on console and PC or remade it, people would appreciate it more cuz that's where a lot of important story beats and characters come into play and for it to be a mobile game many people will miss out on that experience which really sucks tbh.
When it comes time for that information to be relevant to the story, they'll release a movie with the appropriate information. It's what they did with Back Cover and the Days and Coded movies.

and now we get to wait another 9-10 years before we actually get it released. I got to the point where I just wanted to see the end of the dark seeker saga. I wasn't that satisfied with how it got handled. at least it's been concluded and it's over now. I'm not entirely sure if I even want to continue with the series or not.
This is definitely gonna be one of those games where I make sure not to care at all about it til we get an official release date just to not tire myself out on waiting for it to release in who knows how many years.
The current kingdom hearts games on mobile right now aren’t gacha anymore. They turned the original gacha game into a theater mode so if you want to you can go just watch cut scenes. That or just look for important story cut scenes to the mobile game because what happens in the mobile game is very critical to the timeline.
So we know that Sora traded his soul for Kairi's at the end of 3. This world is kinda a afterlife or spirit realm. I have a feeling that there will be multiple stories at play this time around. While sora tries to discover the truth about the master of masters the other characters will be looking for Sora. It does appear that the realm that Sora currently is in is almost a real world, very likely live action films disney properties will be the focus in this realm Marvel, Star Wars, Jungle Cruise, etc. I do hope they do classic disney and pixar films, would be super cool if they start doing square enix and eidos worlds.

@@jaygameelixir9610 No final fantasy characters, the combat seems so off, the Disney worlds aren’t that fun though they’re beautiful, you literally get no story progression until the end with huge exposition dumps, the kh worlds are trash, sora felt so much cringier than before (granted it could just be because I’m older), etc. I played kh2 and both by sleep so many times and kh3 wasn’t anywhere near as good as the bests in the series. It was just hugely disappointing but it was also one of my most anticipated haves of all times so I probably did it to myself

This is one of those things where I will contain my hype until more information about the game is released (I.E. release date, more gameplay, reveal of new mechanics…etc) I’ve been let down before with waiting on new KH content. And being a KH nerd, I don’t think my heart can take it if it’s not released in the next year or two.
Be honest, KH3 didnt live up to the hype, especially with rushed story and pacing. I hope they take a step back, slow down and let this new saga just naturally flow. "Simple and Clean" isnt just a song, it's a methodology for making a good story.

Im in my early 30’s, but what you said was facts. Kingdom hearts 3 was sewer water, so many things wrong with that game. The milking of the franchise, convoluted plot-holes, messy storyline and a saga that would not end. It dragged on and now we are going to be scratching our heads again in 4. I gave up on the series and have accepted it for what it is.

The part at the end talking about gacha games (games that lock A LOT of content behind a price or benefit HUGELY when you do pay) is absolutely true, it's literally just a scam but I can't lie I've fallen victim to it thousands of times but I don't plan on stopping. For example I just spent $175 on a new Genshin character (Ayato) and honestly now I'm just anticipating the next one so that I can throw more money at the game. I hate it but I'm not gonna stop it
Between gaming and movies, 2022 has become one of the biggest fucking years. Yeah there’s still bad shit happening, but man so much good stuff have happened this year announcement wise
