I saw them at webster hall in NYC during Generation Wild Tour it was a cool show. It'd be neat to see them do a generation wild song with simon come out for a song too like they did for oliver
I saw Simon 6 times in Europe and every USA show. This was my first Seeing Gabriel. Not sure if he was having an off day because what I’ve seen online was better than this performance. Either way I am one happy fan seeing Olli Herman do a song with them. I never expected I’d ever see that.
They were having trouble with the mix. Several times they asked to have certain things adjusted. This can throw a performance right into the shitter. Possibly what you’re hearing. I’ve played places where I couldn’t hear a damn thing I was doing and had to rely mostly on muscle memory. I know I wasn’t the best I could’ve been but there was nothing I could do at that point. He sounds solid to me.
Not really though. Not even near. Simon sounded great on the Generation Wild album, but his voice got shot pretty fast and he couldn't deliver live. Gabriel, as far as I am concerned, is the best vocalist and most entertaining stage performer they've ever had in the band. His voice isn't 100% during this particular concert, but it's back now and he sounds better than ever.
@@christianwallin4993 Nope I disagree! Saw Simon live with them on their first leg in the US. Their second show in the US was Tempe, AZ and they did 2 sets back to back. Simon crushed it and did so shitfaced drunk. I'm a musician, guitarist, keyboards, drums and bass since 1975 I know good vocalist when I hear one. Plus Simon delivered the energy better as well. ;)
@@ELECTRICEYEMEDIA I'm a musician too, write my own songs, release my own music, etcetera. Simon sounded great on Generation Wild, and perhaps on the first few tours. Have you watched that show from Sweden Rock Festival on the Generation Wild DVD? That's when the first signs of his voice being shot started showing, and it just got worse from there on. Everytime he tried to hit higher notes his voice would crack, and he never recovered from it. He just sounded exhausted.
Oliver! hahaha muito bom!
Crashdiet I fuckin' love it

Now that's a lead singer! I've loved Crashdiet since their early days. Tremendous concert! I wish I was there.

Not a chance. Simon is far better than this guy.
