Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Baby Driver) talks about the whether or not he'd direct an episode of 'Community'. Source: • Edgar Wright Q&A: favo...
I think he'd be better for a single episode. His style is very distinct and could work for a particular script, but I think that the movie should embody the general style that the show defaults back to. Of course, he could purposefully restrain himself.
"I wouldn't direct Community because it exists well without me. Mad Men on the other hand..." I know he didn't mean it like that but it just sounded that way lol
@@VanielDeeform I know, they are two of my favorite shows. I'm not someone who barely pays attention and only just discovered them through a streaming service.
Edgar Wright would be the perfect director for a Community movie
oh absolutely
Yes! Although i would like to see the Russo Brothers back Again

At least he mentioned that it's because it would be a departure from his usual content, so more of a personal growth thing...
My two favorite shows being spoken about by my favorite director.
Both had Alison Brie, who he also directed in a Beck video.

Remedial chaos theory is the greatest episode of all the sitcoms.
you're correct!
Mad men is the best show ever made, it probably will never be topped
One of the best? No doubt. THE best? No way.
@@romilrh it is absolutely the best. No show comes close to the quality of writing in Mad Men, it’s basically the great American novel in tv format
brrrrrrrrrreaaaaaaaakin bbbbbbbbaaaaaaad
@@sdrebels13 that's definitely a valid opinion to have. And it's also an extremely unpopular one, so the best I can say is I respect it
@@sdrebels13 good but nowhere as good as sopranos
I totally get where he's coming from, but Wright directing an episode of Community would've been a comedy wet dream come true.
six seasons and an edgar wright movie?
He just wants to hang out with Alison Brie (Annie and Trudy)
Who wouldn't?
He should direct the episode "Crash", what a controlled mess would have been.
Edgar Wright directed Community movie anyone?
I love Edgar Wright and community and mad men are two of my favourite shows
I'd love to see a straight Horror movie from Edgar.
Last night in Soho is horror...
If only Last Night in Soho wasn't so aggressively not scary
A full version of 'Don't'.
Homophobic
I love Community
holy fuck, worlds colliding
Lol literally my thoughts
This is wrinkling my brain!
