Blink is my favorite band of all time! Dammit was the first song I learned on guitar.. Dude Ranch, Enema, and Take Off Your Pants are full of some of the catchiest pop punk songs ever and then dovetailing with the untitled album, which is one of the best albums ever written.
This might be the best guitar lesson I’ve watched on UA-cam. Great song, keep up the good work. Blink never got enough credit for their guitar work. Their riffs were always uplifting and innovative. You sounds just like them
Great tutorial. One thing that I think may be incorrect is during the second part of the intro at 2:53 and at the outro at 11:45. I believe that the hammer-ons on the 3rd fret are supposed to be from an open D-string instead of from the 2nd fret on the D-string. I could be wrong though.
This was a great lesson! Is there any chance you can do a lesson on forget me too by MGK? I really like the new pop-punk music he’s making but there’s not a lot of good resources for learning his songs…
Dear holy Ginger Jesus. Can you make a video on how you get this amazing blink sound out of your setup? Maybe with cheap alternatives since I suggest you have pretty expensive gear :)
