So at the end of Revenge of the Sith there is a scene when Padme (Luke and Leia's mom) gives birth to them. Right after she looks upon them and give them their names, she dies. This is why the line "Your mom died of heartache when she saw your face" is so hilarious. I still hate that scene because the medical droid says "she seems to have lost the will to live". While I understand her being heartbroken over Anakin's turn to the dark side, its insane to think she has nothing to live for after giving birth to 2 children. After many years I have come to see the prequels as not that bad. In fact there are some things I truly love about the prequels. However, I can never look past that birthing scene, the writing is just too stupid.
Actually she dies the same time as Vader is created it’s said palps siphons off her life source and gives it to anakin. That’s why it’s so mysterious and that’s the only way the droid can explain it.
That is popular fan theory. Ive seen nothing to suggest he took her life to save his in the dozens of times I've watched those films. Not saying Palpatine wouldn't do something like that cuz he totally would but there is no scene like that makes such a thing canon.@@KaisPeach_

I agree it's stupid but honestly given Padme watched the Republic die and while she could fight she was clearly extremely against it I imagine after losing Anakin the thought of raising two children in such a world where they would have to live under such a hard regime and possibly even be forced to fight and even die to protect her may have been just too much her compassion is why I've always said Luke in Canon or Legends is more like her while Leia again Canon or Legends is more like her father.
I'm giving this one to Harry. It's one of the closest rap battles to me, but Luke messed up on the origin rhyme for me. He had a perfect chance to mention how bad Harry's family treated him and just never took it. So I've got to give this one to Harry Potter. In my opinion, Luke also spent a little too much time bragging about how much bigger in scale his story was, instead of going after Harry. Harry doesn't suck either, after all, he was able to teach a lot of students how to defend themselves using dense against the dark arts, and the students he taught did way better than they were doing before.

Harry's story really wasn't stolen from Luke, though Luke's showcase can make it look that way. They're both really just the classic "chosen one" which goes back literal millennia. You could just as easily say Luke's story was stolen from King Arthur and make all the same points.

The prequels are awful but the newer movies are infinitely more boring.
