29:17 the whole song, especially the solo in 32:36 reminds me of the performance back in high school last year before spring break.
It was awesome to be there with my brother. Also cool that my late brother, me and the rest of the crowd saw “Hardwire” first time live and recorded in the album when it came out later on.

I was there!!! Yeah it was one of the loudest shows I've been to. Hell of a way to break in the new stadium though. I was front row first belcony, and I still felt the heat of all the pyro. Awesome show, and thanks for letting me relive this any time!

This was by far the best concert I've ever been to. Love Volbeat, A7X killed it and I'm a big fan of that Brooks Whackerman guy (their new drummer), and of course Metallica blew it wide open. Amazing show and so glad I could be a part of it.

This was one of the greatest shows I’ve ever been to and it was my first Metallica concert. When I was there I knew there was something different about the King Nothing solo. The now that we’re dead jam was awesome!
Boy does Kirk nail the signature parts in One. What an extraordinary song. You can tell that they revere this song. It is (arguably) their masterpiece.
Some serious downpicking in Master. Good god. Hetfield has still got it. All of them are wonderful musicians.

This was my first time seeing Metallica and it was amazing! During Fuel them damn fire torches were so hot! You could feel them from the other end of the stadium crazy!

Was at the show. Crowd was super loud. This must be the downloaded audio from metallica over the top of the recordings. Watch the other videos to hear the actual volume in the building. was insane, my ears hurt for 3 days afterwards

+anarchisttomato Well, it's just how people are. They like to focus on the negatives instead of appreciating that the guys are still around and kicking ass. Many people LOVE pointing out flaws & mistakes of others, especially when safe behind their keyboards.
Others are simply douchebags getting off on hateful comments and shitstorms arising.
It's always about THEM, not the band. It's their issues they need to deal with on daily basis, and frankly... I pity them! :)
I do believe "healthy" fans still outnumber the rest. And that's good! Note: by healthy I don't mean people who blindly praise & worship Metallica for whatever they do.
Anyway, let's just enjoy the video and not.... focus on the negatives ;)

A critical opinion isn't "hate" and saying so doesn't dismiss another's opinion (although many seem to think it does) Bottom line is, Metallica is rough sounding these days. Some is understandable (Het's vocals) but no excuse for Kirk's sloppy play. Their tone is also dreadful. That's not "hating" that's just calling it like it is. This from a huge fan of over 25 years. I saw Volbeat last night. Now that's a band that absolutely kills it live (live Met. used to)
Lone Wanderer Yes. But do you read the comments these days? I just think that a great deal of "fans" overdo it with the critique which turns into straight hatin'. Anyone who's not tone-deaf will notice Kirk's or Lars's mistakes.. The rest is merely opinions (e.g. dreadful tone) yet people still fight hard over who's "righter". It's ok that people like exchanging such ideas - I used to do it too. My main point is that it's best done in a healthy manner without playing keyboard macho douchebags throwing shit at each other and the band for literally anything that's not up one's alley.

I don't like the pick-ups James and Kirk use these days. Instead of a crisp crunch, it's more chunky and muffled.
its mainly just james. He uses his signature EMG pickups. Kirk still uses regular EMG 81 and 60 combo.
kirk's is fine, James has different ones.

I've seen them 7 times, 1st time in 1989 in Battle Creek, MI and last in 2011 at Big 4 in Indio, CA. They always deliver and put on a great show! Cue the haters saying Lars sucks in 5... 4... 3....2.....
