Why can't Neb fans just admit ILL is a good team. Saying otherwise just makes NU look like they lost to a...bad team. How does that help NU for ranking etc. Right now, it's a "good loss" from a ranked team. Neb fans continue to disrespect Illinois and by extension Neb.

The Nebraska defensed absolutely sucked! Illinois out coached and out schemed Nebraska. They deserved the win. You can only give a good quarterback so many wide open...no defender near them receivers without consequences. The over-time was the most telling example of that.
The kicker lost it for the huskers. Aside from that, the Illinois defense and offense played just a little better than I thought they would. Made a big difference. The run game was big for Illinois. I didn't think Illinois could run on nebraska they did, and I didn't think Illinois or anyone except osu/usc could get 20 on nebraska d. They did sent it to overtime and won. Nebraska played good but not quite good enough against a good Illinois team. Great game, very similar teams and Illinois a big win.

Not happening. Dylan continues to impress and the offense overall played well enough to win. Indiana is going to take a dump on this defense though, and the original predictions of 7.5 wins looks like the ceiling for this team.

The OC coordinator knows absolutely nothing about running a football. ILL played near perfect. NEB played terrible. Refs were worth about 20 points for ILL, not a single post snap penalty on ILL and every review went their way. Kickers missing, Raiola blows wide open TD, RB blows a TD, etc.
