Madame Poinsot is cute, and she plays very well! Pity that the Spanish couldn't show what they did in the previous matches. Baguette beats Paella this time. :) I would have prefered to see international referees in a European Championships final though. Even though Letitia is cute and I always love to see her refereeing a match, she's French after all and every time I saw the referees measuring a point, it was in favor of France.

Lors du match France Belgique j avais écrit que Bonetto n avait pas le niveau international.je retire ce que j' ai écrit et m excuse auprès du joueur et de ses fans
Dommage, le tireur espagnol et la pointeuse sont complètement passés à côté, en jouant un niveau amateur...aïe aïe aïe quand on tombe sur Bonetto et Poinsot !

À part à l'avant dernière mène elle a bien pointé, et d'ailleurs bien tiré aussi, elle a fait 100%...
C'est le tireur qui était nul part et qui se permet de péter un câble, à l'avant dernière mène car elle ne rajoute pas. Soit dit en passant le jeu c'était de la faire tirer, 3 boules en mains.
@@rodin6297 I agree with you. Jenifer L.S. is a fine player. Not technically flawless like f.ex. Peyrot, or Bonetto, for that matter. But a very capable player. Have a look at the game between Spain and Thailand at the Trophée l'equipe tournament, where she ends the match with two carreaux en place at 10 meters (ua-cam.com/video/UwMitL_J-aE/v-deo.html).
Thank you so much for including some English commentary on this broadcast, I really enjoyed it as an “enthusiastic Pétanque player in my younger years. France played exceptionally well. I have two questions please. Why do the players mark the ground where the cocooned ends up? and secondly when a boule contacts a side or end timber is it then not considered for scoring? They have to "mark" the cochonnet when it is launched and each time it moves, it is a quite recent international rule (international federation of pétanque made this rule, even if it is quite weird to do). They said it is to be able to replace the cochonnet in its position in case a player or something came to move it by accident... If a player forgets to mark it after the launch or whence it is moved, like after a shoot, he takes a yellow flag.
And if a boule contacts the timber or goes out of the end limit, it is considered "dead" and taken out of the game (it is why it is interesting to "tirer" sometimes instead of "pointer" even if there is space, to "break" some points by making the boule get out of the limit and become dead).

@@aurelienmerial5796 thankyou so much for explaining this. I played in France for fun with the locals a few times some 40 yrs ago! and remember playing in areas in the local village squares. The players in the videos are amazingly accurate. Once again Merci Beaucoup for explaining.

et avec 1 décamètre français il parait 🤣
le règlement dit que c'est aux joueurs de mesurer et que c'est en accord avec adversaires qu'on demande aux arbitre de le faire
Le niveau est tellement médiocre c est une blague ces championnat européen
