  • Milwaukee locking tool lanyard for up to 10 pound tools helps users stay safe and stay productive while working at heights by reducing the risks associated with dropped tools. The lanyard body is engineered to provide the best shock absorption, slowing the tool gradually if a drop occurs. Locking carabiners require double actions to open, ensuring a secure connection. Integrated swiveling carabiner reduces twists when using tools.

Had this on my Milwaukee installation driver for years. Requirement of lift work. They have short ones for hand tools I also use. Having the drill availed by hanging it off yourself and using both hands to get a security camera or dome on then pulling it up with one hand is the only way I could do it. I have dropped a dome once. It exploded. Had to run and get another and return before lift rental expired.

Nice, but too me the weak link is the exposed paracord, UV plays hell with nylon.

Might have to get some of the Milwaukee ones my ergodyne ones are getting old. But lanyards are an absolute necessity on substation testing

I thought for sure you were clipping into that non standard clip on the drill. Do you have a video on that?

I posted my comment in haste, from a quick search; I''m sure they can be found on Amazon for less than that; handy device; nice review. Thx.

Buy a Bosch. You can drop it and it'll still work.

Yes but no, there are a few too many more potential risks with tying down a powertool, then there are with not just not having anyone stand under your scaffold or ladder.

Yeah, you got to have one of those on the drill.
Especially, locked to the toolbox, otherwise it just walks off the jobsite. 👻 ...... 🧰
