Best option in this budget is Magnite turbo XL or Kiger Turbo or Nexon base model or sonet HTK or xuv 300 base, we will get higher segment car with more rear space.

Ignis is for people who want to compromise on safety,design and premiunness to save a few bucks....however Punch is for classy people for whom money is not an issue.

People expect minimum performance .punch had miserably failed in providing those.The other competitors like kiger and magnite are much better than punch . As a product pricing has its importance punch is an utter failure in that too.
Ignis is never the car to buy. Just look at it. A complete disaster. With Punch, Tata Motors have absolutely killed it with the looks, the features and offcourse, the muscular 5 star global NCAP score.
Can't believe that people are trying to save just a few thousands to only get a tin can.
Tata's mentality has completely changed, and they are now trying to give us cars of European standards. With the acquisition of JLR, their automobile game has changed 180 degrees. Tata is the future, and I can bet on the fact that Maruti will not be people's first choice just after a few years. Tata will be the undisputed king of Indian passenger vehicle market. They are thinking of our safety. It's your dis ability that you are not able to spend a few more bucks. Go for a swift or a ignis. And you will cry if you ever have the extra bucks in future.
Tata has changed the game altogether and now, I don't think they have any competitor in the market.
We, Indians, have always had a bad choice when it comes to cars. Just look at the fate of Ford, Chevvy, VW, Skoda, Toyota. Good cars are not for us.
But I am sure that Tata will be able to change this not only with their great products, but also with their excellent marketing skills.

Tata belives that they could sell any car with 5 star safety.consider the top end model of punch ,the car which has above 10 lac price on road does 0-100 in about 16-17 sec. At the end of the day the person who spend money for this has 5 star safety and slow car. they might cry in the road for the entire life with the slow car.
Talking about the marketing, releasing front ,back,side views in different weeks and releasing the car altogether in anathor video and releasing the price after few weeks doesnt make sense.

4. Think like competition and also have you unique approach.
5. Need atleast 4-5 products in each category-
5-10 Lacs. Ex. Dezire, Bolero, Ertica, WaganR, Aulto.
10-15 Lacs. Ex. Thar, XUV300, Creata, Seltos, Khushaq
15-20 Lacs. Ex. Xuv700, Scorpio N,
20-40 Lacs. Ex. Fortuner,
6. More products, more options to customers.
7. More diesel options like Mahindra cars.
