Infected types
Biter: slow moving, happens weeks after being infected.
Viral: This infected is fresh and will charge at you, not even the rooftops can protect you.
They will sometimes emit human voices either begging for mercy or begging you to kill them. And they can run, do parkour, but are also very weak and can be dispatched easier.
Gasso: a Biter in a suit. Hit the gas tank to make them fly around and explode (loud noises especially gunshots or grenades cause Virals to run over.)
Demolisher: totally not a copy of the tank from Left 4 Dead.
Make sure you dodge it and hit it while It's stunned, make sure you use explosives and anything you can that could wipe off it's armour.
Goon: normally either a construction worker or a fireman, Goons wield heavy sledge hammers that they will attack you with... Very Slowly.
They have a weaker variant that carrys around a small, relatively weak Melee weapon, like a pipe or tool (wrench, hammer, etc.) They will throw it at you.
Volatile: that terrifying thing at night, they are fast, deadly, won't stop chasing unless you enter a safe house or hide out of their sight for a minute: special variant: "Alpha Volatile" Is darker looking and way more deadly.
Toad: this frog looking thing takes after the spitter in Left 4 Dead but instead of acid staying there for a small while, they rapid fire: Ranged weapons recommended.
However they all have one thing in common, one weakness and that is...

A door, closing a door in a infected's face stops them from hurting you, they can't break it or open it, even humans can't open doors which makes no sense but ok.

@@azerian796 that my friend, is called the Night Hunter, in the lore the night hunter is Kyle Crane after the bad ending to the following (the one where you kill the cult leader) where the experimental serum turns Kyle into that thing...
I can guess that ending and the entire following DLC Is canon, as it makes sense that the night hunter would be able to get across the bridge with it's long range grappling hook arms and it's super high jump. So Dying Light 2 happens after Kyle finally turned into a horrifying creature and infected everyone, Don't know how that could've happened since clearly a nuke would've wiped it out and you can kill the night hunter with strong enough weapons and high enough luck. But yeah, that's the lore.
Yeah thank you the name just escaped me. And the ending where crane does become one makes sense otherwise how does the infection spread out of harran? And I don't see crane to be willing to destroy everything be worked for

Them talking about rats physically hurt me, intro pets and only live 1-2 years? Rats are actually quite expensive to keep and needs loads of stimulation to keep them happy due to how intelligent they are, they need to be kept with others and live an average lifespan of 6 years. They need huge cages and it’s best if you can let them out to run around, and unfortunately they are very prone to respiratory illnesses if they aren’t given the correct substrate and bedding
Edit: mixed up rat lifespan with guinea pigs 😅 (worked in a pet store that had the average lifespans of the animals we sold and rat and Guinea pig were next to each other, and my brain mixed them) but they still live an average of 2-3 years not 1-1.5 years and can live longer if well cared for
They live for 2 years on average.

My personal head cannon from now on is that Alex is just constantly showing up to hang out during streams, and when they ask him to do channel stuff, he just does it because he felt like being nice, and he's confused everyday as to why there is extra money in his bank account but isn't going to say anything cause hey, free money.
