If on the odd chance someone sees this, can anyone explain how Megaman throwing his blade while grounded at a grounded opponent lead into a confirmed bair? I duplicated stage, percent, and opponent in training mode and it never launched them high enough. Is it from bad DI? Am I missing a special technique he uses?
I disagree.. Sheik is simply made to combo really well. With practice operating sheik is not much of a problem with tilts etc. Mega Man is a different play all together and lunky to boot in some aspects. Ftilt is still shooting pellats lol not a solid kick or punch to combo into something else. I would say respectively they both played exceptionally well in the battle and have their respective characters on lock down. If VoiD was better he would have been able to move out of the way of a lot of those attacks as he was doing being in and out of guard.. Not saying hes a bad player by any means but he was unable to win. Luck is usually accompanied by other factors like stage, items etc if you get a proper stage or proper items but no items allowed and final des is neutral. Well thats my opinion, and I respect yours but I disagree :) Peace
+Micheal Watts I agree that VoiD’s fighting action in this match against Megaman(Kamemushi) was eventually not good. However,in this case,“unlucky” means that sheik killed herself in a first game, and that it was first to two wins(I think EVO management should reconsider the regulation).VoiD was forced not to lose any sets, even he was obviously getting better against Megaman over the match. After all, until he got used to Megaman as a minor character,Kamemushi won the match (actually only one set) closely. I think I can call it unfortunate of VoiD. Anyway, this is just my opinion too,and I'm Japanese so I'm sorry for being bad at English.(I'm glad if you pointed out my English mistakes)
藤井ゆうすけ well said, I respect your opinion. I can agree and disagree, however you spoke quite well and I see that no corrections are required. Good Day to you sir :)
I believe Kamemushi could have still won the set if Void won the first game. That way he would not be the one to counterpick and Kamemushi could have picked Final Destination which would alter the results of game 2, as Void probably wouldn't be able to pull out that legendary combo
Nobody will be. That's the legendary Kamemushi. The only Mega Man that could hold a candle to him is ScAtt. I do recommend picking up Mega Man, though. He's really good, and he's not used too much, so a lot of people are unfamiliar with the matchup. Even if he's not your main, he's good to have.
Meh. I appreciate the amount of spacial awareness it takes to do things like that, but Sheik is so one-dimensional, I can't take anyone who plays her seriously. :/
Literally anyone that takes more to confirm a kill than 'forward air fourteen times and then down b.' It's boring watching Sheik. Like, yeah, you gotta be fast I guess, but it's the same thing *every time*. There's no mixup.
99% of the gameplay, regardless of who plays her, is 'harass with needles then fish for uptilt into forward air 50 times'. I'm sorry but it's the truth. :/ She's only s-tier because her combos are LITERALLY impossible to get out of until like 120% because she has such piss poor knockback growth on anything except upair and bouncing fish.
I think the reason ZeRo isn't taking tournies with her any more is because people are finally starting to understand how to fight Sheik. She's a one-trick pony. Fishing for kills is different than fishing for any damage whatsoever. Sheik is so cookie cutter cut-and-dried that it really just makes me roll my eyes when I see someone lock her. I Want mixups. I want b reversals. I want hard reads. I don't want to watch someone take the Fair Express into the blast zone 4 times for a set.
That second game last combo was pure beauty.
Damn, Void had total control for most of the set.
Such a shame about the SD at the start. VoiD would have had that.
1:08 tho!? Clean.
Let's just appreciate the combo at 5:08.

I'm new to watching competitive, can anyone tell me why Kamebushi moved on even though Void won 2 games and he only won one?
Oops nevermind. I watched this over two days so I forgot that Kamebushi won the first game
5:43 LSD drops
the secret to the success
This Megaman is the best I've ever seen
Mathieu L he's the best in the world
VoiD was unlucky.
That's a cause of his defeat.
I completely agree. It seems Void was definitely the better player.

so does this mean that megaman is high-tier
no
cause he top tier B)
yes
Well if a Sheik having to be unlucky for Mega Man to win qualifies for a character being top tier...then yes.
He was already high tier, people were just too stupid to see that
I want to play Mega Man now. But I know I'll never be that good.

If you practice hard enough, you can be better than him. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't be.
Void Taking a Page from Mr Rs. book with that SD
Nevertheless fun to see how many times VoiD snagged that metal blade
Most epic grounded item tossed MB to rar Bair. Everything is performed frame perfect after the toss. Insane!! T
hought only possible using bidou.
Void shoulda won this... Unfortunately that SD costed him the set
3:11 nice poster

At least those are multiple options, and their combos require more than 'the enemy didn't block, time to get 60%+ damage for free.'
Tbh if they're in a tournament, they do...

Void was on tilt, bit that Megaman tho. Good set.
My boy, kameme!!! :)
