Thanks Airbuks, though some info missing here. Seems like there are a number of people like me where this process leads to a dead chronograph. Must be some obscure PC setting perhaps. PC connects to chrono via USB OK, can select STM driver OK, can select firmware OK, "Upload to Chrono" triggers deletion of firmware, then the upload fails.
Airbuks, because ur m3 tuning video, i buy prochrono 😂 Now i can experienced the sensation tuning on my gun eventhough only. 177 caliber... And it make me want another setting... 😅
They will differ for sure as the power of the radar is already a difference etc … so I am not sure if the results are conclusive or interesting. I have compares mine offcours and the pocket chronograph reads +-10fps faster then the big one . The spread is almost every time the same

I am absolutely none techy but I read somewhere that it does an internal calculation as to the further distances even though it can’t actually measure the projectile in real time.

That I didn’t check yet as the battery lasts a very long time and didn’t need to do that yet , but it should run off a battery pack so I don’t see any reason why it won’t work running of power supply
@@MikyBianchi yes would be nice if that was in the manual but this is also easy added with a firmware update if it doesn’t work . I will test it soon !
Bought the FX TB Chrony this week and the STM cube prgm will not load as a driver...after many many tries and alternatives (turn off virus software, download google chrome, etc etc) the STM prgm is not an option after selecting connect. FX needs to wake up and make it easier to download / update the firmware. Right now there are 3 updates I CANNOT access. Embarassing and not happy. Wish I never got the product.
I have installed the STM Cube software and the associated driver. After restarting my PC and following the steps described in the video and on the update site, my device is not listed in available devices when I click "connect". Note that, as described, I keep the power button depressed, but no matter how many times I've tried, the device is not available. Any idea how to troubleshoot?
@@Airbuks No , i just recently bought it and i only looked at it a few times going through the menu a couple of times . Then i just wanted to do a small test to look were my LCS was at (speedwise) did a couple of shots 4 or 5 and was around 960 fps . Closed of the True Balistics meter and the next time i started it up it was only giving light ( like , no memory at al , no program only turned into an expensive nightlamp ). i have to go back and turn it in or ( try to "update it" to solve the problem ). because i work sometimes weekends (2X12hours) i do not have the time to get immediatly back from were i got it . (i drove 2x 55 Km to get it). That's why i was looking for answers to look if someone had had the same problem . i still like it , i think it is a great tool that FX has developed .
Be very careful about updating the firmware. Mine got to eraising DFU device memory then gave me the message DFUGETSTATUSFAILED:Error:Control transfer failed:networkerror:Atransfererror hasoccurred. I now have a unit that will not switch on. Hopefully the tech guys from Sportsman G C can sort it when they get back from Sweden on Monday. I am reasonably tech so I was following the idiot guide to the letter, but it looks as if it deletes your old firmware before uploading the new from the net.
@@Airbuks Yes sure. Us frequency regulation aren't the same than EU. US allow stronger and wider frequency. That's why labradar in his US version is better than EU version. Many long range shooter are disapointed about labradar cause you can't update it. FX understand it and allow EU owner to updated with US version. All long range shooter now's it.

Tuning is almost as fun as shooting itself specially when you get the reward of great accuracy
I would love to see an accuracy/results comparisons of this model vs the pocket model.

Far too complicated! Why no built-in WiFi? As for example with a navigation system?

That need to keep button pressed all the time is going to be source of lot problems. It looks like it is coded by amateurs

Did you check if the program that is installed isn’t blocked by your anti virus ?
I checked mine and it isn't blocked. I even allowed the prgm direct access in my antivirus software and sitll nada.@@Airbuks
My FX has a trigger sens setting i don' t know what to set it on cant find info on it can you help me thanks
I just set mine to medium , if it works stick with it 😉 you can play with it if the chronograph isn’t reading the velocity
